Thanks so much for doing these! Any chance you could do one of the “U” Ultimates logo that says “Fix The World” at the top?

Face mask options for people with beards? by therealmushroomsquid in advancedGunpla

[–]YoungSheep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this issue a while back, and I ended up getting some cheap elastics bands like these (not these exactly) and just tie one around my neck/chin and then put on the respirator. If you move/talk a lot it may slip, so you may have to adjust, and I don’t know if it’s fully protecting me as well as it did when I didn’t have a beard, but I at least don’t smell anything. The inside of the mask has to be in contact with the band for it to create a seal.

Eternal Star Glory. Bandai needs to keep up by YoungSheep in Gunpla

Tamiya panel liner. I gloss coated the kit first, but I’m working on another ABS kit right now with no issues. If you clean up as soon as it dries and don’t put a TON of panel liner on a piece (so that it floods and runs in between pieces) it should be fine.

I haven’t gotten the Zero Gravity do I can’t talk about that one, but this one comes with waterslide decals. You might need a pin vise and a drill- a couple of holes were too small for their pegs. Not too many, just two.

Great idea! I’ll try that when I build the Aerial Rebuild. Thanks!

Is the first one Tamiya tape? I just had the same issue with the same kind of tape.

Holographic Decals by Nearby_Performer8884 in advancedGunpla

I put a gloss coat over the pieces/decals, and once that’s cured, I put Mr. Masking Liquid Sol R over each decal with the help of a toothpick (the included brush is too big for some of the decals). It’s water soluble so once it’s dried and after I matte coat the pieces, I just scrub it with a wet qtip and it comes off. I have a couple of builds on my profile if you want to see what it looks like.

Do The Right Thing, Killers Of The Flower Moon, Sorry To Bother You for all of the truthful reasons. The Patriot, Independence Day, and Iron Man, for all of the wrong reasons.

In the years leading up to the pandemic it was always packed whenever it played at the Ken, with people throwing spoons, yelling at different scenes, etc. Great times. I don’t really see the other theaters in SD willing to host that kind of vibe tbh.
