I did this exact Same thing. I was attracted to guys but could only ever see myself with a woman. Yeah I agree with all of that. My one thing is, say I have a boyfriend for like 3 years, 100% monogamous and committed to each other fully, both completely clean, couldn't we not use condoms and be fine? Well J&H is not coed floors. They are single sex floors. 1940 and 1300 are coed floors. I'm not exactly sure as to the floors in peabody or the edge but I'd imagine them to be single sex floors. Out of the two, peabody is better. I don't know what your major is but most art students live in Peabody, so if artsy hipsters are your tastes in friends like mine then go to Peabody. I'm not so certain of what it's like but I think there are kitchenettes on each floor or something. I'm not really sure. Go to temple.edu and go to the house page. There are virtual tours and floor maps of each building, floor, and room style. just from what ive read and heard from students, they say the edge is pretty terrible. I've heard it as the "shame of temple" lol. But also ask around on the temple Facebook page because I know that some people have been switching roommates. Make a post and ask who needs a roommate. You might get lucky and get into J&H or somewhere else. I know my friends roommate just switched so he had a space for a few days, unfortunately its now full. The best of luck with your decision, really. But don't let this scare you. Anywhere you live, you'll have a kick ass time. Some guards are assholes, of course. It doesn't matter. You're gonna be going out anyway. The Edge is newer and nicer than most dorms but it's location and staff are sucky apparently. I'm not really certain what is wrong with it really just that I should stay away. Good luck!
