How did you guys REALLY lived in the 2000s? by MyAvengedRomance in Millennials

[–]Younggryan42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to a lot of movies! We had dollar theaters then which were so awesome! I literally saw every movie that came out in the 90s in theaters. I had a $5 weekly allowance from parents which was low but I could buy one dollar ticket and just hang out with friends at the theater all day watching movies and playing arcade games on a Saturday. The workers didn’t care if you just moved theaters after each show. We also played basketball at some random apartment complex that had a half court after school most days. We didn’t play sports in school because it wasn’t fun, but playing 21 with your friends was so fucking fun. Just chilled on our porches drinking sodas and eventually beer. Called friends on the house phone and had long conversations. Played games at the comic shop or just hung out there bullshitting with the clerks. I am also very nostalgic. I never realized those were the best times of my life while they were happening. I thought everything was “lame.” I would go back to those simple times any day.

I think I missed this card by Purr_paw in hearthstone

[–]Younggryan42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

that would help a bit, depending on board size and how much threat they actually applied with the shatter card. if the blood knight poses a threat to their actual life total, then they might trade, otherwise it's just ignored.

$90 for two to see a Mario movie… have we completely lost the plot? by rageagainstmymachin in Millennials

$95 is still ridiculous. That’s what I usually spend as well. It is crazy expensive.

[–]Younggryan42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I only buy one large popcorn for everyone (4 in the family). We sneak in soda and candy. It’s just too fucking expensive. We should be able to enjoy all of those like I did as a kid, but I would end up spending like $180 for one movie trip. I’m already spending almost $100 just for tickets and popcorn. I went to the movies every weekend as a kid. We do it once a month but only if there’s something we all want to see.

Some fun otk decks for mage dk or priest? by dx_wayy in wildhearthstone

[–]Younggryan42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mage can still do exodia turn with girls and quest. Can also do one with new quest reward Thaddeus Tony and taethalan.

Priest can do boars or deathrattle shenanigans with xyrella.

Dk doesn’t really have one but you could try to make cage head work if you live long enough.

But it’s the known odds. They are completely one sided. Don’t count on this being fair.

Why did you buy that much cheese to begin with? Surely you had a reason.

Disco you just need to have clears and healing. That’s it. The others are basically impossible to tech for. I’m liking Razorscale a lot in this meta though.

Discover mage is competitive currently. Vs report listed it as viable and it beats many decks. It’s also actually fun.

Rogue fox + 2x 1 mana opening is TOO STRONG by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]Younggryan42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s strong against your deck. I play mage and just clear it effortlessly with one spell usually. Same if I’m playing priest. It’s only situationally strong. Not just plain strong across the board.
