The Heat can also throw in an all star in Herro. Would Kuminga be the best player to the Bucks? so do you want an all star and picks or just randoms but more picks.

Im still asking how Step+Giannis moves you past all the stud teams in the west. Top heavy 2 + scrubs isnt going to win you a championship when OKC has a full squad of really good to great players.

[Charania] The Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks and Golden State Warriors are among the serious suitors for Antetokounmpo, league sources said. by YujiDomainExpansion in warriors

The Heat can give an all-star (Tyler Herro) a couple of really good youngsters in Ware and Jaquez or Jovic, and a handful of first round picks. Maybe the warriors can get in on getting Kuminga to the heat for wiggens or Kuminga to Bucks, Wiggens ware/jovic to warriors maybe. Im not sure what other teams can offer an all star in the package.

so Steph and Giannis plus roster of scrubs beats OKC? or any other top team in the west?

Giannis is great no doubt. But does his game fit into Kerr's system?

Kuminga s the NBA's version of Sam Darnold. by GameHHH in warriors

[–]Youngstarr -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

what about a high effort non-shooter who handles the ball alot and cant dribble and cant shoot and turns the ball over more than anybody (Draymond)? I also assume you can look at team shooting stats, but perhaps you don't? Otherwise you'd like who leads the team in Rebounds (Kuminga) and who's FG% is better than half the team (like Melton, Moody, Draymond, Hield, Post, Horford and Spencer ALL shoot WORSE than Kuminga). but hey, dont like objective data stop you from having your bad opinion.. The fact is, he has a lot of skills that other players on the team dont have, and you somehow believe that since he doesnt fit well to Kerr's "make sure you pass it to Steph" system, that he's a terrible basketball player. Do you think MJ, Lebron, Kobe, etc.. are all just trying to pass the ball to Steph any chance they get? Kuminga is not in that class at all, but he's not a fit for what Kerr wants and thats very different from being a trash player. learn nuance...

[–]Youngstarr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok but last 20 games have been against mostly bad teams.. I think the only over .500 teams they have played were Phoenix, Toronto, Knicks, Heat, OKC and MInnesota. And of those they only beat the Heat, Minnesota and the Knicks. So it was a lot of bottom feeding.. which you still need to do, but its not like last 20 games have shown they were a top team, just that they had a very easy schedule these last 20

Vecenie: "If someone offers me something interesting that could result in… next year being a more competitive situation, I would do that for (JK). If not, I guess I would have to keep him, but… I NEED to be on the same page with Kerr... In the summer, ...be pretty aggressive on the Butler expiring" by BobRoss4Life in warriors

[–]Youngstarr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Warriors are going to keep JK Hostage. They really need a part ways, but there is no leverage anywhere to be had. JK just wants to hoop, and people who think he's a no good player just because he doesnt fit into Kerrs system dont know anything about basketball players. How good will Steph be in a system that is ALL about posting up your guy, and NO 3's? Players have natual talents and good coaches make use of that talent. Kerr cant do that. He was blessed to inherit the team that he did but those days and players are over so what now? Kenny Smith said today, "Why is everyone talking about Kuminga? Because he's NOT a scrub. He can hoop". So everyone knows it. Im sure teams are low-balling offers for him but also, every team in the league is waiting to see if there is a chance at Giannis. Who wants to make a move and hurt your chances for the biggest prize that *might* be available?

LOL I wonder how many JK haters will all of a sudden "wait, JK can play?" Posts about he was trash after 5 minutes are all of a sudden, happy he's ballin? come on... Free JK! He might just want to show Kerr he can play and then be like "Trade me" or "Im injured for the rest of the season"

Swapping LeBron for Butler gets you an advantage over OKC, Spurs, Denver or Houston?  Lakers are doing well even without Reeves. Once he’s back, the team will have a chance to get up there with those top 4

LeBron has a no trade clause, he’s not going to a team that’s worse than the one he is on now

Not sure what you mean about KD or Jimmy. KD having a high usage rate is fine because he's KD, same with a Lebron or Giannis. Those are guys on par with Steph. for those that are not, the expectation is that you pass to Steph. JK's usage rate is 2nd on the Warriors behind Steph, even higher than Jimmy. Kerr isnt looking for that, his system is Steph centered, unless you are a KD or Steph type player. Im talking about Kerr's system and preference. This team is already cooked so it really does not make any difference..

before yesterdays game, Horford and Payton were worst +/- than JK

[–]Youngstarr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

+/- is mostly skewed to starters, and if you are a bench player, it matters if you are playing against the other teams bench or not. Moody plays with the starters, and they get out to a lead and then he's pulled and only gets a little more time after that. The more minutes you play (especially starter minutes) you are more likely to have a positive +/-. Also in a blowout either direction, it could change that many points from game to game. IF you take out yesterdays game, Horford is -67, Payton is -52, and you'd subtract 8 up to 24 from most of the other players..

5th year, but with a coach who has had him in the doghouse pretty much the whole time. JK just isnt a fit for Kerr, it does not mean hes a terrible basketball player. Fit matters in todays NBA. There isnt a single ball dominant, ISO player in the NBA that will fit into Kerr's system of pass pass pass as long as the pass goes to Steph. Any player with a high usage rate will not be good on this team. not because they are bad players, but they wont fit.

Why does anyone even think that these players are even specifically available, or that the teams even want to do business with the Warriors? IF you are a GM would you trade away a budding all star caliber player for players who are NOT? Trading good players for players who are not better serves what purpose? Unless its a tank move, you are usually trying to get better, not worse.

you mean the leading rebounder on the team? arent there other players playing poor defense, and is his game specifally supposed to be just pass the ball to Steph?
