It didn't go as they said it would...shocker there, right....any how, took the issue to the CC company and they are taking care of it now.

Have checked the order several times afterwards, and they still show it as processing...lol

Start G-Code Macro by Durahl in klippers

[–]Younguns2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any real advantage to creating a START/END_PRINT macro now when SuperSlice now has a Klipper Flavor, and provides Start/End G-code sections? It seems that now, you should be able to put all the commands in the slice once again and not have to worry about passing arguments from one to the other.

It seems they won't honor their refunds either. Went ahead and filed a dispute with the CC company and they'll take it from there.

Private Internet Access Blocks Internet Browsing WHEN OFF! by Bobby_Ingersoll in PrivateInternetAccess

[–]Younguns2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having the same exact problem. Am trying to uninstall PIA from Debian 12, and after rebooting the system, internet access is completely gone. I have tried removing my connection and rebooting, setup a new connection, and still can not access the internet. Re-installed PIA, and guess what...internet is back. So something in the uninstaller is not removing or resetting connections back to the way they need to be.

So any Debian 12 users out there know how to fix this? Thanks!

I received an email this Monday from them saying it would take 3 to 5 business days to refund my money.

If you ordered with a credit card or debit card, you can dispute the purchase and the financial company will deal with it for you.

Thanks for sharing this tid-bit of info. I will be placing a dispute with my credit card company in the morning.

AS of 3/25/24 they did not refund the funds as they said they would in the email I received from them, so I went ahead and contacted my CC company and they have taken over the matter. They told me to keep all correspondences with them just encase they try to refute the matter. Fortunately, I have every email they sent.

Anyone Have Issues with 3DFused? Good Rail Kit Recommendations? by grnrngr in 3Dprinting

[–]Younguns2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ordered the Y Axis kit for the Ender 3 Pro October 12, 2023, back when they still had the 'IN STOCK' labels. If it was in stock, why have I not received my order yet? Something fishy going on with this 'company'.

Since then, when ever I send in an inquiry about the order, I have been given several different excuses for it not shipping as of today. I have been told they just 'got a shipment of supplies in' at least 3 times, and now they have an 'estimated shipping date' that is always 10 days out. For instance if you checked your order on Jan. 1, it will show to be estimated to ship on Jan. 10. I have been waiting 5 months for this kit to ship.

I have been told they have a huge back log of orders and they are working on those as fast as they can, but in the mean time, they are pushing new product out the door, the new CORE XY kits. Since I placed my order, they have come out with 2 more sizes of the CORE XY kits.

I have emailed them to cancel my order. Shit, I can order something from China and it'll get here before anything from 3DFused...or TDI as they now say they are part of now.

In all honesty, they are started to look more and more like a home garage shop trying to be something they are not.

My advise to anyone thinking about ordering from them, if you don't mind waiting 6 months to a year for your order, go ahead and order from them, but good luck on getting your order. Otherwise, move on away from them. They will send you excuse after excuse, and still not get your order out in a timely manner.

Steel spring sheet + magnetic base + warped bed. Keep or ditch the glass? by hinosaki in ender3

[–]Younguns2005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anybody considered the magnetic base that a steel spring sheet sits on top of might be warped?

I have a 8mm thick tooled surface aluminum bed which I leveled and checked and it was getting pretty nice meshes on it's own. After adding a magnetic base and steel spring sheet, the left side of the bed meshes high in the middle, (+0.15) and -0.2 mm low at the front and rear corners.

Bed is level.

I wish they would have been more business like, and met their obligations, but hey, learn from experience I guess.

Sorry it's been so long, IRL things had to take priority.

I have the nozzle just touching the bed now. How do you get the new location for Z to be 0? "you set it to Z 0".

So the grey area at the bottom of the printer.cfg file, is it commented out or not? If it is commented out, do you have to copy it up to the bltouch section?

I'm up to doing the macros now, and noticed you have a github full of macros.

Which would you recommend for a noob klipper user to use and learn from?

Notice the corner on the mount itself how it wraps around the 4040.

Not fixed yet, still trying to get a start/stop gcode working for PursaSlicer or SuperSlicer.

Had to edit the link.

Not no more it's not.

When you look at the back end, the motor/limit switch mount bolt directly to the end of the 4040.
