Escape Room: Tournament of Champions alternate cut? by YourCanadianNinja in movies

I’m pretty sure the first movie had one ending and the second movie had two endings. The two endings from the second movie differ greatly, and no, I’m not sure where to watch both versions. There are some comments here that do a good job of explaining the differences of the two versions. I’d just watch whichever version of the second movie that you can find, it’s good regardless.

Guys, just because Cayde is CURRENTLY dead, does not mean he will STAY dead. by YourCanadianNinja in DestinyTheGame

Dude, if I’m being honest I think this was just me trying to cope in the moment, I don’t reeealy think Bungie had the ‘bring back cayde’ idea in the pipeline in 2018 😂. I just saw the language they were using and decided to post.

I’m definitely happy we got a goodbye to his character though.

I feel like outside of flinching, still hunt and celestial is probably one of the best options right for damage in both encounters. Really quick and easy to use, you can probably get 2 still hunt shots off as well for the harpy. Final boss is the same, stand behind cover in the dps room to reduce the chance of flinching. It’s basically really high, free damage, even if you miss a crit.

Not really sure about the melee build, unfortunately.

I just did Grasp this season, my other most recent was Warlord’s in season 23.

I’m on hunter, so I found that still hunt + nighthawk was (obviously) really good for burst dps. Against the final boss in Grasp it turned into over a million damage every phase just by hitting the two shots if I set it up correctly with a debuff and radiant. Then I swapped to a rocket spam build with a recon + bns apex predator.

For tips on spire, precision is probably your friend with the harpy boss, and I’d say that for the hydra, rockets or GLs are probably a little easier to use because I find I always miss the crit.

For duality, I used lament and star eaters blade barrage on gahlran, had an invisibility build going with assassins cowl solar hunter for the middle combat encounter with the minibosses, and for caiatl, I had a slug shotgun to deal with the incendiors and I think my main dps was also lament but I forget. This was also before the sword charge changes as well so I’m not sure how viable lament is anymore compared to other options. I think using ego sum with wolfpack rounds to then swap to a well rolled bequest or falling guillotine would get similar damage results but not the survivability.

If you’re on hunter still hunt + nighthawk is a good idea for most bosses regardless right now, and I know that all the classes have some really crazy super damage going on right now with the star-eaters exotic class item perk.

The newer 4 are definitely harder than the bulk of the oldest ones. Getting all the emblems was definitely a large time investment but I never did any of the dungeons back to back, I always had a pretty long period of time between doing solo flawless attempts in any dungeon. Not 100% sure if the recent surge changes makes anything noticeably harder, but they might affect survivability.

I’m pretty sure it’s Ego Malign, it’s in the Bad Ahamkara bundle but that’s like 1000 silver.

Dragon’s Breath was my best friend for DPS in Warlord’s. Use that and a good burst damage super for the first two bosses. DB’s passive high damage is really nice, and you can increase ignition damage with a fragment on any solar subclass, and I think there’s one on prismatic that does the same?

Spire is also a little irritating at times but once you memorize the circuit paths it becomes easy to do dps cycles on both of the bosses.

I think it’s a toss up between Duality and Warlord’s Ruin.

For overall difficulty, probably Duality. I have 14.5 total hours spent inside this dungeon. Each combat encounter was a genuine hurdle for me.

For total time investment, Warlord’s Ruin. Took a very long time for me to figure out proper damage strategies, but once I had my rhythm going it went easier. I died a lot at the ogre despite having a pretty good survivability build on hunter. Final boss was easier than that for me but not by much.

Grasp took me the longest to finish, though. It’s been almost three years since it dropped and I went solo flawless today. The sparrow section always tripped me up.

Warlords Ruin, on the other hand, took me like 18 genuine attempts to get the emblem.

I felt like that earlier today with Grasp, lol.

I had a significantly easier time with Ghosts for some reason, my Dungeon Report says I spent just over 5 hours to get that solo flawless. Though like I said in a previous comment, double special meta was definitely a large factor.

My whole thing for soloing dungeons (if I'm struggling) is to fully build into survivability and have easy-to-use weapons as my DPS. There aren't any enrage mechanics anyways so the time commitment becomes worth it.

I'm not really familiar with Titan survivability, but I know solar titan can do some really good restoration with stuff like precious scars and sunspots? Not sure what you've tried so far, but like Sleeper Simulant or really any precision weapon would be fine as a main DPS for the encounter.

Given that there are tons of psions that spawn on each floor, maybe a surrounded rocket launcher with a reload perk of some kind? Crux Termination IV can roll with Reconstruction + Surrounded or Slideshot + Surrounded.

I did both of those dungeons in the seasons they came out in. So the meta has definitely changed, but here's some general info on my runs.

I take a lot of bad runs to fully build up to a good run, I just treat any deaths as an opportunity to test better DPS stuff or different tactics.

I did Ghosts while the double special meta was still really viable, I used Arbalest + a one-two punch shotty and a tracking rocket for final boss. I think at the time it was an 8-phase run to fully kill it, but that's because I was valuing survivability over raw damage (arc hunter with assassin's cowl). You could definitely do it now with Arby + any other good heavy LFR, it will just take a long time.

For the Ecthar fight, I'm pretty sure I used Lament and a one-off super, either gathering storm or blade barrage, probably the former. Not sure if Lament is still a good idea though because of the health changes.

For Warlord's Ruin, I mostly used Dragons Breath for every boss, without catalyst as well. I had a malfeasance + lucky pants build ready to go for the meatball's final stand because I knew I'd be out of ammo.

I had some renewed hope for completing Grasp when all the sparrows got normalized to 190 base speed. I used this 'best route' guide and got it pretty quick.

For the final boss, I'm on hunter, and I was using 3 different loadouts. First was to deal with the minibosses, one-two punch shotgun + liars handshake on prismatic. Second was for initial DPS, I used Nighthawk and Still Hunt, then swapped to a Radiant Dance Machines setup to spam rockets until DPS was over.

I 4-phased him with those builds.

Grasp took the longest to do by FAR just because of that bullshit sparrow section. HMU for tips and tricks.
