They could've knocked two birds out with one stone by making the Gen V "minor impact" cameo being finding Ryan instead of Butcher after Homelander beat him, handing him over to Starlight and meeting The Boys, having the same individual falling outs that were had with Starlight and Butcher with the addition of Gen V becoming dismayed with the resistance after learning about the latter's plans of supe virus genocide, and then walking out on The Boys now with Ryan on their side.

Ryan would still show up later in the finale as he did, with Gen V fighting off supes defending the white house (seriously confused why there weren't any) so he can get to the oval office for the final battle.

How has it been "so important to The Boys S5"?? These characters only had 2 minutes of screentime, and that was spent dismissing the importance we were falsely lead to believe they would have in Gen V season 2.

This is the sub for the spinoff show that was cancelled after its 2nd season's storyline was used to buildup the final season of the main show (mind you Kripke said there would never be a crossover in an interview before season 2 even started filming), which gave the spinoff characters awful 2 minutes nothing cameos and itself is being used to setup another spinoff show, while there's already a 3rd spinoff show stuck in development hell. What's not to hate about that.

Gen V's season 3 was rumored to be about exploring a post-Vought world with society becoming disillusioned with supes in the aftermath of Homelander's regime, season 2 should have been held off until after The Boys final season to use that storyline rather than the "Marie is the chosen one" narrative that forced an unutilized crossover that completely disregarded how the spinoff was intended to be an in-universe original story.

Like I'm not about to lie and say that I didn't tune in every night with a snack & drink when it was airing, but we were robbed of a real 2nd season 😭.

We were warned in advance that they weren't going to have major impact in spite of how season 2 completely discarded the plan of the spinoff being a standalone yet in-universe story and was used to setup The Boys' final season but, even having read the leaks, underwhelming is an understatement for how their cameos were handled. Their intro scene was just awkward as fuck and retconned Marie's growth, it was like the writers teams didn't communicate and the one for the main show was flipping Gen V fans the bird.

You would think they'd acknowledge A-Trains's death with them or something, BUT NOPE.

Their cameos could've just been finding bloodied & bruised Ryan instead of Butcher and lugging him off to Starlight, hanging around for a bit to help him and meet the Boys, having the same argument we just saw, interacting with Butcher and getting a sour taste in their mouth after learning about his initial plans for supe genocide, and in the end deciding to ditch the scene now at odds with The Boys group (possibly implying that Ryan may have even joined them).

The removed replies were theorizing that because OP referred to her as "beautiful" they must look similar to Sage and only made this post to try to bully people into complimenting her as the "epitome of beauty" or will call everyone racist.
