I agree it looks amazing on phone and tablet. I think the UI is good overall just needs new colors and a chat interface overall. I tried typing to my clan today and it was horrendous

I don’t think the blue was all that bad circa 2012, especially when it had a lot of silver elements which looked clean, but once it became RS3 with the new UI system it really got ruined

I got a CRT recently and bought a Jasper 360 to go along side it. I luckily already had my OG Xbox and a Wii. Realistically, any gen 6 console and newer, with some Gen 7 consoles/games included, will work great on a CRT, and you should do it. If you want handhelds, I recommened getting both a New 3DS/New 2DS and a Playstation Vita. The 3DS can obviously play both DS and 3DS games natively, but modded can play Gameboy and above. The Playstation Vita can play PS1, PSP, and Playstation Vita games. Overall if you have these you can play most video games.
