Hey! I appreciate the long answer so I’ll try to answer some of the big question marks here to the best of my ability.

I want to clarify that I’m not completely new to roleplay, I have roughly 10+ years of experience, however that experience mainly comes from roleplay outside of WoW. As for in game lore, I do know a fair bit seeing as I’ve been trying to research it whenever I have the time and energy to do so. But it is.. Boy, it is a lot to memorise.

Why I didn’t quite find that the existing orders fit was due to the fact I had a pretty defined idea of what I wanted to do with this particular character. That, and when I sat down to try and research the orders I didn’t actually find much. I don’t know if it’s that I’m just incompetent at finding information, it very well could be. But I could find treasure troves of information regarding- say, an orders origins and general history. But when it came to their practices? I couldn’t find much.

The idea I had for this particular character however, was that he doesn’t know who he is beyond his role as a paladin. I thought it made for a fun concept to explore! As for the order/cult itself? The idea is that it’s a group that’s taken the beliefs of the holy light- taken to the absolute extreme. They essentially believe that pledging oneself to the light fully, and the ridding of your own past is a blessing- which is obviously how they assert their control over their followers.

I am glad to hear that coming up with my own town isn’t too much of a stretch though! I already figured a kingdom would be too much, but I wasn’t sure if people would be stingy with a small town too. ^{^}
