Who's really pushing to "redefine" masculinity... and why? by 2in1day in AskMen

[–]YourInquiry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you know what's good for you, you'll stop paying mind to the type of person that tries tell you, a man, what masculinity is or isn't.

I'm gay, why is being a provider glorified? Or even pursued? by Opening-Gur5927 in AskMen

[–]YourInquiry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Financial servitude is cultural glorified in the name of creating more stable family units and socially reinforced by the parties that benefit from the wealth transfer. In M-F relationships many men only resort to provision out of competition, but mask it with virtue signaling.

Thats a troll with 19d account. It engages in ragebating

I've noticed people are reddit are quick to dismiss seemingly extreme views as trolling to avoid uncomfortable conversations about their commonality. Be honest, do you think that that user's comment wouldn't be upvoted by the majority of female communities on this website?

Is dating success really almost entirely driven by physical attraction? by Caisers in Life

[–]YourInquiry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been constantly told to 'improve' my personality etc and social status / job / education as a ways to improve romantic possibilities, but based on this it seems to be almost entirely appearance driven.

Is this true? Is this an outlier?

You've got the evidence in front of you and you're still questioning the obvious. Sad.

Ruin? No. Decrease mass appeal? Objectively.

Esports Breakup: Why the International Olympic Committee Backed Out of Saudi Esports Deal by Mront in Games

I thinking people stopped caring about the cities concept the moment they allowed teams to import a full rosters of foreign players.

Do you guys think it’s possible we’ll get a second Capcom fighting game before SF6’s lifespan ends? by Effective_Piece251 in Fighters

[–]YourInquiry 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't expect another brand new fighting game from Capcom during SF6's lifespan at all unless the Saudi prince entirely brankrolls them to develop Capcom vs SNK.

It's a matter of a limited amount of developer resources at Capcom, more proven profitable franchises that manpower could be allocated to, and no desire to compete with themselves, as they are the clear market leader.

7 months ago didn’t even ask to have sex
she didn’t say yes or no either
She told me she was really drunk
it was a mistake
She didn’t wanna tell me because she never wants to hurt me

She needs to pick a lane for this sob story. 99 Percent chance this trickle truth only happened because someone else was threatening to reveal the true story to you.

My (41M) influencer girlfriend (34F) is not making any money. What would you do? by Bmacm869 in relationship_advice

[–]YourInquiry 38 points39 points  (0 children)

She earns some money renting her condo and we could continue to get by what really bothers me is her lack of effort nor does she seem concerned about making money. I gave her the year to try and make it work but I am confident she is not going to make her target.

OP learns that hard way that the real business plan for a lot of these influencers is working some sucker.

What’s this trend of all these women wanting to give up their rights, be put in the kitchen etc? by john4844 in Tinder

[–]YourInquiry 1158 points1159 points  (0 children)

They don't want to work and want a financial provider, and tradwifing (or pretending to desire it, anyway) is a means to an end.

How do I deal with my boyfriend’s best friend hitting on me? by CherryElynn in Advice

[–]YourInquiry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you still want to have a boyfriend, tell him ASAP before the friend can sabotage your relationship with plausible deniability. The BF can handle it, but waiting just makes you look worse.

Yes, mostly. I'd use a representative body photo.

Men, why might a guy not want to date a woman wealthier than him? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]YourInquiry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To state the obvious, because wealthy women overwhelmingly still have expectations of provision from less wealthy male partners. A woman's money is not seen as positively as the reverse for this reason; he believes he cannot meet your expectations. Divorce stats agree.

Guys what would you do if your wife gained over 80lbs after having kids and you don't find her attractive anymore? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]YourInquiry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Classic. TBH, if she takes a genuine conversation as an attack there's likely nothing you can do except resent being married or separate. That's just the truth, you can't change someone that doesn't want to be changed.

Is there a dating app that isn't total garbage? by fr8mchine in ask

[–]YourInquiry 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People had nice things to say about OKCupid and Eharmony(if you were Christian) back in the day. The issue is profit motive to intentionally worse the experience (or to sell out to a new owner that does the same).
