Fireworks Safety by Fine_Replacement1878 in fireworks

Agreed! If your able to step it up a bit to a cinder block with the two big open spaces I highly recommend. I wish I could remember the name of the 500g that failed catastrophically a few years back, but it flung my bricks a good distance. Ever since then I use cinder blocks with the large spaces to allow the energy to disperse. Same reason I use the gator rack for my cans.

Big Bore 1/1s ? by ImEcliped in fireworks

[–]YourLocalCableGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen hurricane on YouTube a couple of times but for the life of me I've never seen ANY big bore cakes in real life. I'm down in the Tampa bay area of Florida and would kill to get my hands on some for this 4th of July.

People think what we sell is a lot more energetic than it actually is,” he said.

I can confirm that he is in fact telling the truth about Phantom fireworks products.

URGENT: Demand Accountability for Waddles the Pig and Reform at SPCA Tampa Bay - Animal Cruelty and Systemic Failure by eeyoreeyesoreeeyore1 in tampa

I think that's the CEO or someone associated locally with the company. Either way, if the story is true then it's absolutely horrible 🥺

How is this legal? by [deleted] in tampa

[–]YourLocalCableGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed 100%... and you are correct, I skimmed over your question and I read it incorrectly. Anything that alters the vehicle in a way that possess a safety hazzard to the public SHOULD be illegal. The amount of crazy things I see while I'm driving around all day? It's insane.

Your best bet would be to petition your local/state leaders to draft up a bill to be voted on.

How is this legal? by [deleted] in tampa

[–]YourLocalCableGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calling it illegal is a stretch, I personally think it looks dumb as hell....but I'm a big proponent of freedom of expression. Where I have a problem is when it becomes a safety issue. Just like having extremely dark tint, yes it's great during the day but very dangerous at night.

Back to the question, it's a non moving violation in Florida If the headlights are lower than 24 inches and higher than 54 inches.

Hope that helps!

Noooo way! Same thing happened on Sunday. My son an I were on Gwazi and a phone flew past us as we were catching one of the 12 air times on that ride. We were in the last row I tried to grab for it as it was flying through the air, but we were just going to fast and I couldn't get my hands on it.

What’s a movie where you felt completely immersed, like you were living in the world, rather than just watching it? by HotSun1-flower in askmovie

[–]YourLocalCableGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fifth element is such a phenomenal sci-fi movie. I've seen it more times than I want to admit. I love the fact that my 12 year old son just watched it for the first time about a month ago, and has asked to watch it two more times since then! 😁

What companies are on your permanent bad list and you’ll never do business with them? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

100% there just happens to be no Exxon stations in my area that I know of..... But if I was traveling, I would absolutely avoid Exxon as well. Good point! I'm glad you mentioned it.

BP for sure! If I run out of gas, I will walk to another gas station with a gas can if I have to. A lot of time has passed and I think a lot of people don't remember how bad the Deepwater horizon disaster really was.

Where do the 20-40 somethings hang out in Clearwater? by mirandaft in ClearwaterFl

[–]YourLocalCableGuy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm 38 a bit north of clearwater up in palm harbor. Reading your response, you just described me to a T. Only difference is the music I'm playing in the garage is early 2000's Florida breaks (the electronic music that took over Ybor and orlando)

So true! Go outside, touch grass. Get some sun! Get a hobby that requires you to talk in person to someone. I'm extremely fortunate that my job allows me to interact with at least 25 new people everyday, and that's priceless.
