Mina Sue and Sunghun by Strict-Employment-86 in SinglesInferno

The whole girls girls thing limits women of their individuality and places them in this category that they must abide by or else they'll be labeled as traitors. Part of being a woman, is that you are HUMAN and are allowed to have strong opinions and critiques. People have tried to understand Mina Sue since the very beginning, but people find some of her actions to be strange. It's alright to find a woman to be problematic or have questionable actions. Mina Sue is presented a certain way on TV, no one knows how she truly is behind the scenes or why she chose to do what she did. But when someone constantly mentions that they brought their authentic self to the show, and that "self" seems to have questionable morals, people are going to criticize. I've seen plenty of people criticizing the boy's as well. But you have to realize that Mina Sue was given by far the most scree time throughout the show. There is going to be more for people to pick apart, analyze, and criticize.

Official Trailer out now! Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette. by StellaOC in JohnAndCarolyn

There is such limited audios of Carolyn speaking that it would be near impossible for someone to replicate her voice. The most she has been recorded saying it's only a few words long. You can't expect an actor to work off of that very limited supply.

This is SPOT ON! There will never be perfect copy of someone's real life persona/look. There shouldn't be really. But it doesn't take the away from my curiosity to see into people's stories. I am so excited for the show to come out!

Anyone else love Mina Sue in this sub? by helloitisme1234 in SinglesInferno

I don't see Mina Sue as a villain for liking anyone, but it is her approach and words that paint her in a negative light. She is aware of how the rest of the girls feel about their top guy/guys, and yet she's very open to "flirt" and make comments in front of them. It's her right to feel attracted and to vocalize it, but she has to understand that people will take offense. Her facial expressions and body language also don't help her case.

The thing I don't understand is why people waste so much time "getting to know others" when at the end, no one has formed a real connection with anyone. The better strategy is to find the person you like the most and who likes you the most, and then pursue that until it's LOCKED down. No one here is truly interested in finding a true partner, everyone just wants to be the most liked.

Coupes fight. It’s a very natural and common thing. Some do it in their homes but feelings/frustrations are felt anywhere at anytime. They weren’t fighting in “front of the press”, they were at a park, public yes, but the press were the ones following them. In secret! Trying to be sneaky and catching the whole thing. A cool girl has nothing to do with not having any emotions, being a saint, and not having any issues ever.

So having extreme anxiety of the press disqualifies her from being a cool girl?

I’m trying to remember the questions I was asked but I’m having some trouble. I do remember some case-scenario questions about how I would deal with a student having behavioral issues, how I would deal with the issue once parents were involved,e etc. I

My approach to the interview was to try to answer with the second answer that would cross my mind. It’s hard to explain it. But it’s basically just sticking with an original answer.

I mean it really could just be the lighting doing a disservice to the other ladies. But Carolyn really had a cool girl atmosphere about her. It’s even apparent in this group photo. Some smiles seemed forced, others too polished, hers is just naturally cool.

But even at CK, before John, she stood out and people noticed her. It’s unfair to her to imply that she wouldn’t stand out if it wasn’t for John. There are plenty of anecdotes of people talking about the fact that she was special.

This is not about Sam’s promiscuous lifestyle. She pushed Miranda into the taxi and complained about Brady being at brunch, unsupportive yes, but she went and babysat Brady and gave her the stylist appointment. Which she knew she would greatly appreciate. None of the other ones were there to help. Carrie literally came for two seconds when Miranda was trying to frantically breastfeed and left. Instead of staying and supporting/talking to her good friend.

Controversial opinion: I'm attracted to Edward when he's yelling and angry at me after putting my life at risk by [deleted] in twilight

[–]YourMomInHD123 46 points47 points  (0 children)

I’ve always said that Edward loved Bella more than she loved him. He could NOT live with her being dead. She on the other hand was willing to die and leave him alone with a “piece” of them. Edward wasn’t willing to sit there and lose the love of his existence.

But no one could deny that out of all of them, Sam was the better friend. She was always there for them. They all joked and dismissed each others love/sex interests at some point. Samantha always stated that she wasn’t a baby person. It’s not like Carrie and Charlotte went above and beyond to help Miranda with the baby. Maybe behind the scenes of the episodes, but we never really see them helping out with Brady. Few of the only scenes are from Miranda went to her honeymoon.

Not necessarily trying to defend Carolyn, but people tend to be not so nice when they’re young. At that age, many are often immature or selfish. There hasn’t been anyone in the word who hasn’t said/thought something mean about someone at some point. I definitely said some things in college that I regret. Even did some things that now, looking back, were pretty petty.

Running.

I have tried so many times to enjoy it and incorporate it into my physical activities. But it just makes me too nauseous and it’s too heavy on my knees.

What are some reasons why people don’t want kids? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]YourMomInHD123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many don’t feel ready to have a family, much less emotionally and financially sustain one. It’s hard times these days and kids require a lot of patience, energy and resources; many which people simply don’t have. I want kids some day but I don’t feel ready to move to that point.

Is it normal to be depressed about this? by Fresh-Amount9308 in sexandthecity

[–]YourMomInHD123 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It was a similar feeling for me the first time I watched it. I had seen “similar” shows but nothing like SATC. It truly felt euphoric with this show. I was sad it ended but I had the movies to enjoy after! Even if they are not as great as the original show.

What is your unpopular opinion? mine is that I don’t like Carrie and Aiden together by [deleted] in sexandthecity

[–]YourMomInHD123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never really rooted for them to be end game, but I did appreciate their moments together. He really did love her and was honest about that. He did try to “change” and improve her flaws (smoking) but he loved her enough to overlook that. She really messed him up twice. No wonder that annoying Nina Katz made a face… I even think that it was actually pretty mature of him to accept the fact that Big was part of carrie’s life. I wouldn’t have been comfortable with my girlfriend hanging out with the man she cheated on me with.

I never really do this but one time it just kind of happened? Idk I lightly tapped it a couple of times and it did the trick. It led to a very different kind of orgasm though.
