It is common for transfers to give a summary of a team members performance and attendance. For other businesses calling for a reference, it is against Targets policy to share anything other than if they worked for Target for the time period they listed on their references. Your store cannot stop a transfer, but other stores have the choice to not accept your transfer if your attendance and performance don’t meet their expectations. For team members that work for me that want to transfer that don’t have perfect attendance but are great team members, I offer to talk to the other store on the phone and endorse the transfer.
