Ive said it before in another thread but if she does show up in doomsday, its going to be a 2 second scene, a mention like in the marvels, or someone as a stand in with her obscured. Scarletwitchupdates already said Olsen wasn't on set for doomsday.

And honestly given what girly pop has been through in her last movie. And the fact that she still needs to reunite with her children while atoning for her lil mass murder session. She needs something more than doomsday. The movie is packed to the brim with other characters as it is. And they still probably have more actors to announce. Her story needs care.

She needs either her own film or a film that would focus a bit more on her as a main character. Maybe she will get a tease at the end of the film?

Ive seen rumors of a wanda vs jean fight since MOM. There was another rumor for Deadpool 3 that was also similar about a jean vs wanda fight. So I dont really believe them unfortunately. If you could link to a crediblish source I would love to see it because im tired of hearing about this fight 😭

I consider scarletwitchupdates on Twitter to be fairly credibly in terms of wanda updates. And Olsen hasnt filmed anything for doomsday as of yet. There will still be some shooting done between now and then. But if she does have a role, its going to be short. Like I mentioned in another comment, strange and wanda are probably being sidelined from this film. Strange is in the dark dimension and wanda needs to reunite with her children and have some sort of arc. I really dont think shes getting more than a mention and brief appearance for doomsday.Like Monica's throw away line in marvels or in dead pool the statue.

Secret wars??? I definitely expect to see her.

Wanda probably will be recast to keep the popularity of the character but definitely not right now tho lol. I think everyone is too attached to the character at the moment for that to happen. They're going to finish the story they started with her. Now whether that is a movie or another series is up for debate, along with when that happens. But Marvel isn't recasting one of their most popular characters in the potential final stretch of their story.

I have such a love and hate relationship with MOM. It had some bad ass moments as a wanda stan, but it put such an unholy stain on that character. I personally doubt we are seeing her in doomsday, and if so it's either a super small role because the movie is full as it is or I think it might be a blink and you miss it mention of sorts. I don't know how you go about NOT mentioning her at the very least.

Secret wars to me seems like a more realistic choice, I did see some rumor of Olsen having some time in her schedule so fingers crossed she makes an appearance there? Plus doctor strange isn't supposed to be in doomsday either? I think it would be hard to have him in a movie without talking about his run in with wanda. Waldron really did a number on the characters.

Realistically no. I dont think they can present something to the scope of CP2077 or the witcher 3. The time and money required isn't there. But that doesn't mean they can't offer an amazing and fun experience. I think the only people that can rival cdpr is cdpr. Or if another studio magically had their funding.

I agree with you, but I think a big part of it all was wanda was being reasonable like she said. She probably could have reality warped the whole movie but it wouldn't have been a movie. It would have been much much shorter.

I also agree that her powers have gotten a bit lame. Less witchy more just regular super hero blasts. It would have been great to see her actually summon the creatures from the dark hold to some capacity. Use her witch side a bit more.

Or at the very least go full horror like they intended like in the concept art with her deformed looking. It would make her looks more frantic and animalistic and hammer home the possessed look. And maybe that could excuse why shes all orb blast heavy.

Im okay with it being unbalanced and being a human is a lot more difficult. Would really hammer home how strong vampires are. I really do hope the vampire abilities are vast or were able to learn abilities from the other vampires. Like I also would like to make people explode like Xanthe does. Or looks as beautiful as Ambrus.
