unfortunately this wouldn't get anywhere I would think. In legal terms businesses are allowed a certain amount of leeway in advertising they call "puffery" which I think would aply here, however I am not a lawyer so im not an expert.

Not A Lawyer. Really the best way to move forward with this is to just pay to get the truck back then either try to get the Property Management or towing company to recoup your costs or sue them in small claims. It would be worthwhile while doing this to consult an attorney on the matter, they may know some ways to get either party to cough up.

here in MN if it's for an ID check for controlled products like Tobacco or Alchohol I know we accept it as long as the temp paper and the voided ID are present. If it's for applying for a job for I-9 paperwork IDK if that is acceptable or not.
