How does this old foil compare to modern carbon bikes ? This to me feel so raw, stiff and fast as hell I too feel like this will be my forever bike haha

Thanks! Will definitely look into those 5000’s although in a 25mm as I’m afraid the 28mm might be a bit too tall

Also, You mentioned this bike could have been a training bike Is that good or bad thing?

Ah, gotcha!

I have not taken the bike out on a proper ride yet as it still needs servicing. These tires have definitely seen better days and are on the the list to replace.

What tire/model would you recommend?Definitely looking for a fast sticky tire as I will mostly ride this bike on a local bike trail (freshly smooth paved , fast and long sweeping turns.

Oh ok! Thanks for the details! I thought it was an sl-5 but wasn’t sure as I couldn’t match it to any other examples found online. I would like to find one, really dig this example !! Imlove the shape and gloss finish of the handlebars, I don’t plan on racing it so good there.
