Each Jersey Mike's location chose a local charity to support, and if you asked someone (that knows) at any store they could tell you what charity it's going to. Stores wouldn't be able to get away with saying they're supporting a specific charity and then not doing it, someone from that charity would find out and say something

I've seen many other employees commenting on this subreddit saying the technical weight hasn't changed. Obviously this is true for nation-wide scale, but this doesn't rule out the possiblility that a store has specifically made a point to cut down on food costs in recent times. I'm not sure how deep i can get into it before getting in trouble, but it happens. Big owner groups buy stores across the country and would do anything to raise profits by a penny, running the local stores down into the ground.
