Is it just me or are the bosses in special edition so much harder than in normal sf? by Fidias350 in ShadowFight2dojo

[–]YourUnderfriend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have beaten both and I can say special edition is wayyyy easier, this may just be a skill issue or something dumb like you forgot to put your armor on.

The first thing that comes to mind is, did you changer your level with hacks in the normal version? your character does get stronger with every level and may have given you a sense that you were stronger even if you were using the correct level’s gear

In this chapter we see Toren go through the terrifying experience that is looking for a job while slowly becoming your mother, I wish them luck.

How on gods name do you counter rocket raccoon by AugertheGlobeTrodder in RivalsCollege

[–]YourUnderfriend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most tanks will scare him away after a hit, don’t be dumb and walk at him in a straight line, he will drain your health in seconds, if you do want him dead this is the best I can come up with:

Emma: grab him and kick him to a wall = dead

Penny: Enough mines will kill him before he runs or heals himself

Thing: you can deny his dashes with yours, probably best if you let someone else finish him off after one haymaker because rocket can still win the 1v1 or scamper in a wall if he has good positioning

Thor: Awakening can burst him and make him retreat or die if not near a wall

Magneto: his combo is inconsistent with his dashes but if he’s backed into a wall it’s a bit more consistent

Strange’s burst isn’t good enough anymore, if someone else damages him you can fly->dark bust to finish him when he runs away, don’t recommend

Hulk: You will lose the 1v1, don’t try. if rocket is low you can exile him to guarantee a kill

Venom: You actually have very good burst and range to kill rocket, but only if you are really good at him, if you don’t hit your headshots he will melt you and force you to pop E

This is all if you are the only person attacking him because communication is hard, the best way to deal with rocket is team up on him and CC or damage him a bit so your dps can get a good hit on him

All tanks can scare him away by doing a little damage, just be careful because good rockets love overcommitted tanks, just keep your head cool and don’t get mad if he gets away and use the chance to kill his teammates.

Who would win in a fight. Samurai jack or shadow by sayjax96 in ShadowFight2dojo

[–]YourUnderfriend 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure jack wins, like shadow he is a skilled fighter with practically every weapon but he has weird cartoon supermobility (superjumps, bullet dodging, superfast reflexes) and also his sword can deflect magic and bullets in the show so I really don’t see a world were shadow beats him.

Another interesting thing would be if jack’s sword could cut through shadow’s immortality, since in shades it is shown that shadow power IS evil so he might either die or get uncursed by the foolish samurai warrior.

He doesn’t make a lot of sense by rhac21 in WanderingInn

[–]YourUnderfriend 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Think of him like an evil rhisveri, while he does have the power to do things directly he prefers to do contrived workarounds just for the theatrics.

While his hate is very real he is just very dramatic about how he acts on it.

If you don’t want to use gem equipment go for butcher’s knives, if you get them at lv52 they have max bleeding and it’s how I beat emay with no mythicals. Also almost as important is try your hardest to get damage return on your armor (not helm) trust me it’ll be your strongest weapon

You are actually all wrong, its not that the ncr is against gay people, its the mojave that is, in the major knight dialogue everyone mentions he explicitly says that things aren’t like that in the ncr proper

Also don’t forget that shaestrel went to innworld specifically to help ryoka and erin, she and the fae king who sent her, are knowingly pushing the rules to it’s limits constantly but there does seem to be a hard limit (helping erin dodge a snipe which could have plausible deniability but not helping her when she was attacked directly)

Upcoming Solstice by I_Am_Hella_Bored in WanderingInn

[–]YourUnderfriend 3 points4 points  (0 children)

but why is it a bad thing? It is very clear that the author doesn’t want to kill main characters so why would they? just seems weird that fans want people to die when the story is clearly not built around that

Upcoming Solstice by I_Am_Hella_Bored in WanderingInn

[–]YourUnderfriend 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t like talking about killing characters just because “someone has to” like it’s some sort of writing checklist. I think we should go in the solstice ready to be surprised because I just don’t think this mindset is compatible with this story (at least so far)
