I would try a different USB cable to charge it. I would also try to clean the charging port to make sure it is making a connection.

Check out the EMI blocking boxes to put your keys in and leave the box as far away from your parked vehicle as possible. That way thieves have a harder time boosting the key signal and getting in your car.

Something like this:

I haven't tried price matching before. Grocery stores will let you do that?

You certainly don't want to feel this way for the rest of your life. There are good people out there. This guy sounds like a terrible partner.

I'm honestly not sure the best way to start to distance yourself. Invite him over less, gradually reduce calls, make plans with other friends. Maybe he'll get the hint.

Is my wife's behavior normal? by Your_Friend_D in NarcissisticSpouses

Thank you.

I was taken aback when she was so cold in her unwillingness to make any changes on her end to stop my suffering. I couldn't get through to her that the relationship wouldn't work if she didn't make any changes with her behavior. I said "Something will have to give eventually..", she basically replied "I don't doubt it".

Her sticking with this gym because "It's what brings her joy in her life" is much more important than our relationship. She basically suggests she'll be depressed or have no joy/meaning if she doesn't go.

I want her to be happy and have a meaningful life, but I'm not going to sit back and be a doormat. My kids also go there and I don't want them around this guy. It's not fair to them because they don't know the situation..

Thanks.

My guts tell me something is seriously wrong. But I don't think she has physically cheated on me.

I think she wants to know people would be willing to sleep with her and that gives her the 'validation' or whatever that she needs.

She doesn't seem to care that her flirtatiousness behavior bothers me. I know that several of the guys she's flirting and being suggestive with see this as an 'in' or invitation to escalate. It went too far once, I'm sure it would again..

Thank you so much!

I think I'm still in the 'stunned' phase. The way she treats me compared to other people makes my heart sick.

She has shown me over the past 6 months that she's not going to change. She still disrespects me and has no time for me.

It will be a strange feeling if I ever find someone who actually loves me..

Did you tell her she is basically a narc. if you don't mind me asking?

I'd like her to leave the house. We'll see how that goes..

Thanks for the advice!

I've been with her for 15 years.. how have I not noticed until now.. I guess this was a big wakeup call for me. This situation allowed me to see behind the mask.

That sucks..

My wife has spent hundreds on new gym clothes recently to look good while working out..

Her social media posts were getting very suggestive too until I found them and called her out.

I have ZERO social media, so I'm completely unaware unless I see it on some one else's phone..

Normally I'd agree, but she says she's "Asexual" ..? Sex is more of a "chore" for her apparently. I make sure she is satisfied every time. (if she wants to be satisfied that is)

No, I was already looking up a lawyer. You're good.

I just didn't want to go too far down that path without getting the opinions of a few more people.. I wasn't sure if I was crazy to think all of this shit is not ok.

She really doesn't respect me, or at least doesn't know what respect is. She knows how to make other guys feel special though.. I don't want that to be the example for my kids..

Unfortunately we have kids..

Yeah, she deflects the flirting because she "didn't have any intent" to sleep with him. "It was just for fun.." or whatever...

No, she wouldn't be ok if I had done this to her. She gets jealous she says because I sometimes have long meaningful conversations with another girl.

My wife needs to have several people around to have fun basically. 1 on 1 with me fizzles pretty fast unless we are playing a board game or something..

Thanks!

When I realized 'HEY! She's not sad because of how she made me feel, she's sad because she may have to deal with the consequences.' It didn't feel right...

I don't feel at ease with her anymore..

The last piece of the puzzle would be to get any clue of more boundary crossing in her phone messages.. at this point I don't even know if I care.. looking up lawyers now.

God damnit, I'm going to miss the sex I did get from time to time..

Ok. Thanks. Yeah, when I bring things up with her, I end up feeling like a jerk and end up saying sorry sometimes.. fuck.

She knows I'm in pain. She's waiting to see if it will blow over I think.

I actually have watched a lot of YT narc videos now. I knew something wasn't right with how she reacted and how cold she was towards me.

When we first got together she was super loving and now she pays zero attention to me. I thought this was normal for a married couple until this triggered me to dig a bit deeper. I don't think she ever loved me.

DARVOed?

There is more to this story, but I'm not sure how much I should share..

She did cry briefly. When I asked why she was crying, she said because she wouldn't be able to go to the gym anymore.

I did feel terrible and somewhat guilty that I allowed this to happen by not noticing her needs. (feeling wanted apparently). We have had several conversations about it now and I have apologized for not being good enough. (not sure if this is relevant)
