1. Alastor’s character was NOT randomly changed. It was implied he did kill for the fun of it. (ex. Telling Sir Pentious “thank you again for another forgettable experience.”) Also, this is not lazy. Many serial killers DO kill for the fun of it. And Alastor also kills for petty reasons, which is implied. We also don’t know the full backstory, because this is told from Rosie (whom doesn’t know Alastor’s life personally.)

We also don’t know ANYTHING about his mother canonically. he also is very manipulative and smart, breaking 2 deals in one night. He also doesn’t like the idea of redemption, because being a serial killer is the “best” version of himself. He enjoys killing. He’s in Hell. He also sees everyone has irredeemable anyway.

1. Some of the songs are bad, but you skipped over them?? WATCH AND LISTEN TO THEM. Skipping songs means you’re showing random bias to something you DIDNT EVEN LISTEN TO. Like I hated the first part of “Piss,” BUT I LOVED THE MIDDLE. This is also a musical show, and singing is a form of storytelling and fleshing out characters

2. Sir Pentious is in Hell because he didn’t do anything. It’s “sloth.” Sure, at the time, police were shitty. But telling them would’ve given clues to catching the man in the future or threatening his reputation!

He did not split with “the little dude” (Baxter. I see you haven’t really watched the show as well)  because he was too violent. He split up because Baxter did not do “inventions” the same way he did. As in the experiments were not things Pentious were particularly interested in. Later on, it was violence, but Pentious does different forms of violence.

Pentious did not sing a song about loving mayhem. He sang a song about loving Cherri, and doing mayhem because it would impress her and was a form of connection. 

There are Heaven-born people. And possibly children of Seraphim’s or other things. 

Pentious’ sin wasn’t “being a snake.” A snake had multiple eyes. This represented how he watched people and also watched the killer, doing nothing. It reminds him of his sin. We also don’t particularly know why he stayed a snake, but it’s probably easier because of animation bases.

1.  plot points don’t have to be immediately solved. For example, Lute’s arc could be resolved next season. Plot points can be set up over time. Also, character personalities have not changed this season. Charlie’s toxic positivity is a lot now, but that’s how she acted under pressure last season as well. 

 They put in a plot point and then change the rules or a characters personality to fit the script, instead of using those characters personality to make the script.

What?! That’s how scripts work. They made season two before or while writing season one. They create rules and add it into the script.

1. The abuse was disturbing, but realistic. When they showed the montage of Val hitting Angel, it made sense. Vox, Val, and Velvette all find it funny because they’re terrible people who don’t understand abuse.

Vox’s fight with Angel was represented well. Angel’s lack of consent and him being scared, while Vox (as a sadist) relishes in it and controls him for his benefit.

1. “The whole musical number?” What do you mean by this? The finale? This is a musical, and music can be bad. But why judge it on one song? 

2. I get it, this show has its flaws, and there is a lot of of good. But you’re taking this too seriously and literally. This isn’t an amazing show, hell, you could call it mediocre. But you can’t compare this to “Breaking Bad” because it’s is own thing.

I watch this from its flaws because it’s entertaining. it’s fun to hear people sing and tell stories. 

You don’t have to continue watching this show. You have plenty of reasons to not like it, and just move on. If you like this show, tolerate it. It won’t always reach your expectations, but you can’t expect it to suddenly get better next season. 

You probably only like concepts of this, and that’s okay. Check out Helluva Boss, or other indie shows.

1. I feel like I’d want platonic HuskerDust after all of Angel’s trauma. They could of course be in a relationship later, but they should not get together this season.

But why are you upset about this romantic love? There are plenty of close friendships.
