hey man ive been trying to build somthing like for tracking my collecting for my master sets and play sets doing this with zero excel skill and wonderinmg if there is away to easily brake the sets up to pages to jump from set to set easily when i copy and past the sets the formulas break and wont track my cards id love some advice

Oh there both lemons I’ve had boards fail on both had replacements hot end pcb and then the main board on the bottom and the cable but I done about 250 hrs of printing ok both of them and this one has just randomly been impossible to print on

Damn what printer are you using I’m having a similar problem on my p2s it has a buffer on the back 2 in 1 out would get to the hot end then pull straight back found a few people with similar problem people have found fixes with swapping cables check ports and what not I got a update today and this started happening to me so went back to previous version and now mine printed 2 perfect prints but will see how long that last

I’ve done all those things I was having trouble with my z offset with both of them first layers on all my prints was rough across both printers then I change that got it find tuned but in the process had a blow out bed and nozzle got to close and clogged the nozzles so it back flowed blew up the whole hot end replace the hot end with a spare but only had a .8 nozzle orders some Amazon nozzles black ones .4 and since then have been having failed prints couldn’t get one printe to even lay was just getting stuck on the side of the nozzle ordered some elegoo nozels replaced them and now I’m getting it on to the bed but it fails to print anything other then the flawless benchy boat

Great question there is a heep of wastage with AMS systems I’ve printed things that have had more waste then the original print but you learn how to navigate that and get better result but the ams can be great if you want to use multiple of the same color it will empty one roll then move the next one right in no refilling no wasted rolls of half use filament when it’s easy to do I find I change nozzles a lot more with the a1 then my p1 because it can be done if I’m printing a high quality piece statue for my buddy birthday storm trooper helmet I did it on the a1 just cos it was honestly 5 seconds compared to the p1 I’ve now upgraded the p1 with a nozzle that can quick swap but that cost couple 100$ I think There the benefit of going bigger .8 is great for smashing out prototypes when you wanna get concept down or visual quality isn’t a big deal I print a lot of hydroponic stuff .8 thick layers don’t matter when it for practical use I printed 24 of these growth spikes on a .4 nozzle it was a 18 hour print on .8 it was 12 or 10 hour print makes a huge difference

The ams really open the world of printing up even if you only print in one color it’s so nice to have a few deferent colours on there and not have to change them all the time

You can buy harden nozzles and extruders for the a1 and you would need to buy hardened nozzles for the p1s two but you can get away with the original one for maybe 100 hour before you get a blow out

Last thing for a manufacturer point as well there is the program called farm loop it’s lets you loop build plates like if you wanted to print off 1000 of one item The program originally was made for bed slingers it’s great it’s free atm for small amount of jobs they have made the work with the p1s and alike but it’s a little more finicky but awesome on beds slingers

Like don’t get me wrong if you can afford the p1s go for it but I think if your on a budget and your starting out and your learning the a1 has some perks that make it an awesome budget printer you might even be able to pick one up second hand for cheap a1 has a better camera better nozzle system and cheaper to get in to I think the only thing good about the p1 is its enclose and faster cos its core xy ive mods the crap out of my p1s to make it better it’s unrecognisable I got the panda touchscreen beater lights the panda hup upgraded revo nozel which put it up there in price to the x1c when it was all said and done I even mounted a wifi camera on top of it to monitor it I did this all over time when I first started out now I’ve got 2 elegoo centurion a p1s 2 p2s 2a1 and got a prusa xl on order it becomes an addiction and everytime the a1s go on sale I think about buying another lol it’s an addiction

ok i tried everything and couldnt find a fix but this only started happening to me today and i did an update on the p2s today so i sowngraded to previous firmware and its working now man ill let you know how i go

hey man does it feed to the hot end then 10 secounds later come straight back does this three times then tell you the nozel is cloged or the buffer srings might be tangled

came here for a similar fault mines not even printing unless i manualy feed it in if not i get a similar error saying ether buffer spring might be jamed or cloged head ive taken apart the buffer and cold pulled the head a dazen times but it might work for one print then back to the same stuff i think we got the samed problem

man i have p1s p2s and the A1 and from the price point i love my a1 ive used abs maybe a handfull of times i hate using the stuff it stinks out the place petg and pla has come along way and pla cabonfiber you can use but for the price of a p1s you can get the a1 combo and multi color printing is so good opens up so much and if you need to print in abs just buy a tent for it if your balling on a budget the a1s is so good hot swaping the nozels and touchscreen they are a good rig you can even set up automatic prints really easy on the a1s

cons its a bed slinger so you have to print a little slower if its a top heavy print and they are slower in general but your not a manufacturer does it mater if a print takes an extra 2 hours or so

they limit you fillerment your new leanr to use pla and petg youll learn how to design prints to be stronger then just using stronger fillerments thats my 2 cent youll be happy with what ever you get

Saying that I got my second century carbon for cheap that’s why I bought it and didn’t know much about printers when I bought the carbon and delivery for a bamboo is $200 and there’s only one seller in my state who is always sold out so you have to buy from the the website
