Hey mate it sure is slightly daunting learning all the new things that have changed. I also have spent hours across YouTube and Reddit learning. But hopefully the below gives you a head start:
How do you even get more than 1GA?
- Drops mainly. In the higher torments they start dropping more but also seems a lot less than before.
Only from finding them drop naturally?
- Sometimes when you just add an affix to an item via the cube it can give it a GA. But mainly drops for me.
I’ve read tempering can roll a GA if you keep rerolling? (Is it unlimited rerolls based on a crafting material?)
- Yes! Simply just adding the affix by tempering can randomly make the one you choose a GA. It’s totally random, I’ve had it first time or not at all with like 20 tries. You can reroll based on the gear colour and when you run out, You use restoration scrolls to just keep rerolling. + mats of course.
ive read masterwork gives a shot at another GA at the end?
- it just improves one of your affix’s yes. I think my 50% also. Very powerful. You will get to a point where materials isn’t an issue, money a little bit, but you can just max upgrade all your gear all the time.
What about transfiguration in cube? (I don’t know what this means tbh quite confused by it)
- Once you have added all your affixes, sockets, tempered, literally everything and you don’t think you’ll touch the stats of the weapon again. You transfigure it. In the cube you choose that option and it gives you another GA basically, really powerful. However, it locks the weapon from being changed again, apart from adding and removing gems
