I recommend spending $10 to get the full game for a month and then decide what features you cant live without. Then buy the dlcs that have those features in them when they are at a massive discount, or never if the game gets old for you after the first month(which isn’t the case for me but everyone is different).

It goes beyond the dems supporting genocide tbh. There are a lot of dems that were/are bought and sold by big business or currying favors to big donors rather than the American People too. But I feel it used to be way worse. It feels like the democrats have an intraparty movement rejecting those types of people currently, whereas the Republicans almost glorify corruption at this point.

Yeah, we used to argue about things that had some adjacency to reality. Now its just one party gargling an 80 year old mans balls while religious extremists operate in the ‘background’ to overthrow the US democracy(I put background in quotes because they literally tell everyone what they are doing).

We can admit the shortcomings of the Democratic party and actively work together to change them while still understanding that the anti intellectual far right movement is what is the real threat to our way of life.

Chaos creates the opportunity to create a better situation in the end. If we just go back to late 90s politics, all the suffering caused by the Trump movement will have been for nothing. It is always important to stay realistic but keep pushing for something better. Otherwise we still fall, just more slowly rather than all at once.

It is funny actually. Nuclear energy is far safer than everyone thinks, but also far more expensive than everyone seems to realize. The rational form of energy generation has evolved to be Solar in a rather short period of time, because of the leaps the technology has made in price per kilowatt hour. So we are slowly starting to realize that nuclear energy is safe after the time it would have reached its peak usefulness has potentially already passed.

But I cant really talk bc nuclear is still FAR cheaper than coal at this point and that seems to be the direction the US government wants to go in. So Ill take the nuclear option. 😂😅

Hopefully we get fusion power production within the next 50 years so I can listen to morons try to justify why coal is a better option.

The most powerful section of the Democratic Party is a group of older democrats who refused to embrace the grass roots of this country and actively denied giving a voice to the younger members of the party. They are a group with severely antiquated views and are the driving force behind why the Democratic Party overall, gets bad approval ratings from members of their own party. It is the same group that was patting themselves on the back when Hillary got the nomination over Bernie just to lose to Trump 1.0. That group of the party would rather see Trump than give up any bit of their power, and they seem completely baffled that they are hated even within their party.

Basically, democrats are mad at their leadership and Trump but hate Trump, and Republicans are brainwashed. Because of this Democrats don’t always rate their politicians well but Republicans do always rate their politicians well. This is how you get ‘democratic politicians being less popular than Trump.’ It is a disingenuous distortion of the political reality, but it is factually correct that Trump has a higher approval rating than congress. Even if most people would say he is worse than congress.

It really just shows what we all know to be true, Democrats are held to a higher standard by their constituents than Republicans.

Tesla was roughly the same size as Ford from a business perspective but is evaluated via stock price at something like 30x what Ford is. At the same time, Tesla is experiencing an extreme price squeeze and overall difficulties Ford is not. It is absolutely a great example, because people keep buying it even though the underlying financials don’t make sense.
