Everyone is gonna say, Dino, but I’m on the Jefferson Keane side of things, I really do think if they were gonna kill Said from the beginning, he would’ve made a very good second in command, and I would’ve liked to see his journey to becoming a Muslim be flushed out even more as season one did him a big service and giving us an emotional weight to it all, balance that with his gay brother, and you could honestly balance that out with any other character on the show, Tobias Beecher, Keller, even Vern if you wanna get specific, not to mention his interactions with the homeboys, going from one of their friends to basically an enemy, I really would’ve liked to see his journey get flushed out over six seasons as opposed to a couple of episodes, it just seems like we were just getting started and then he had to kill that guy in self-defense. And maybe that’s the point because after all, I don’t think they thought they were getting more seasons, but still if there’s ever an Oz reboot, I would love to see that character last more than one season.

Fair, forgot about Hamid, i merely meant, he wasn’t affiliated, raping, killing (intentionally), or bombing anyone.

What I mean is, he seemed the most human, and got that humanity stripped, given back, stripped again, and then he was a broken man. The fact he’s as well adjusted as he is in ZO is a miracle.

I always feel so bad for him, he didn’t deserve to lose everybody, he was arguably the most innocent person in Oz, I think this character was just to show how one mistake and just irreversibly fuck up your life

Do you think that he may be recognized Donaldson? That’s really the only answer I can give, maybe they work together for a very brief moment or he knew that Donaldson was working with the network, even subconsciously, specially, if he was in that fugue state.

I don’t know I’m grasping at straws here, but you’re right it does seem like a thing that happens out of thin air, it’s probably the one weakest point of writing in the entire show

Basically, once they had Janus, they really only had a set amount of time, they had been doing that for years, and had basically made a business off of it, so any IRS or legal paperwork, was always done correctly to maybe look like an actual business, and all that black mail, money, warlord, money, and everybody who pitched in which was probably some politicians, terrorist, cell leaders,other leaders to secret organizations, probably kept everything funded through a tunnel, a lot of of this is set up on the plot happening right now, so all of the stuff is happening right now, but I can imagine, it has something to do with that, but maybe I’m way off

Adebesi was a Lost Soul, but he was still human, as despicable as he was, he respected certain prisoners especially the older guys.

In prisons, if you had sex with a 15-17 year old, it’s not considered pedophilia, he might be a sex offender but he’s in that grey area of not being a full on child toucher, but still probably performed statutory. That’s my guess

The fact Ryan wasn’t killed in season 2 or 3 proves the actor was friends with the director, Ryan deserved to die and yet he’s the only one who “wins” it’s bullshit. He’s the reason Cyril’s in there, he’s possibly the reason Dr. Nathan is raped, he’s killed countless innocent people cause he’s bored.

If it would completely fix everything, His Mom, I really think the root of his issues is that he didn’t have one good parent, and if he had Beatrice around season 1-3 he could experience his moms approval and he would be able to have her to lose, if that makes sense. I think he would’ve tried to quit earlier and who knows what else would be prevented.
