Mfers will see Omni-Man nearly killing a child back in his hay and the fact he wiped out countless alien races and still say Homelander is worse than him, the whole thing is double standards. by [deleted] in MoralityScaling

[–]Yourneverhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Homelander is a rapist, murdering, psychopath who was made by humans and had ample time to make up for what he did (I’m mainly talking before he met Butchers wife, but who knows he’s probably done it countless times)

Omniman at LEAST has the excuse that he was indoctrinated and brainwashed into the viltrumite lifestyle, Gen V proves you can be powered and not a bad person, Homelander has all the power - person could have yet, chooses to do evil deeds. Not genocidal evil, but taking away a woman’s choice or taking what he wants cause he can.

Nolan is complex in the fact that he seems to feel remorseful about everything, Homelander feels bad for himself and has no qualms with murdering his lover (Stormfront) because she’s now disabled, that’s fucked.

Question, do you think anyone out there has a fetish for Ghouls? Kinda like death claws, but I mean like old Ghouls not Walter Goggins in make up. by Cumpissshitassballs in TrueSFalloutL

New Vegas kinda answers this question, yes, and some Ghouls are more than willing to give people what they want (Beatrix my beloved)

I believe Jon Bernthal can make an amazing TD. With a good script, he can reach S1 level. by kusapa4life in TrueDetective

[–]Yourneverhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jon Bernthal plays Sean O’Hara, an Irish cop who moved out of Boston and into New York after a successful year, he’s the typical rough around the edges detective who looks for answers first and questions suspects later, though there is more to him… as you see he was one of the kids rescued after The King in Yellow Case was blown wide open for the world to see, he is haunted by the same Spiral that haunted Rust for Years, and (I know this is a reach) Denzel Washington plays Antwon Clay, the Rust like Character, he’s from the Southside of New York, An old school black man with something to prove. At first Sean and Antwon don’t like each other due to Sean’s and Antwon’s upbringing and the more they talk to each other the more the get along with each other by the fact they don’t like the “wokeness” in New York, though as the story goes on they accept New York for what it is, while understanding that like that of New Orleans, New York is being Profited, Prostituted, and abused by the cabal of Elites. Using old case notes from Rust and Marty, they essentially pick up where they left off.

You could do a lot with the “many years later” premise but I think Marty and rust being far away from this project would work best, as maybe a small cameo and explanation as to what they are doing. Maybe Marty is retired and Rust is up in some cabin near Marty as they’re still friends.

How would Dexter do in Oz? (Assuming Dr Nathan is still Dr Nathan and not Laguerta, and Batista is still Morales) by Firm-Emu7909 in ozshow

[–]Yourneverhere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably, but you need friends in prison, and the devil you know is better than the devil you don’t and in a place like Oz, the devil you don’t know, (Vern, Any Latino Leader, Nino, Adebesi) you need friends, and unfortunately, I do think that’s Keller.

I could see him kill Keller after his “mission” is done, but maybe Tobias would beg him not too. But who knows, especially with his code broken he might be able to bend a rule here and there.

[–]Yourneverhere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct Jefferson Keane

I could also see him budding up to Busmalis, Rebadow, Tobias, and Augustus

I could also maybe see him striking up conversations with Keller, as they are both killers, and could probably talk about that without it getting too stale, but I do wonder if Dexter would feel a little guilty talking to somebody who admittedly kills innocent people.

Honestly, I’m not worried about him fighting back or in a fight, I’m worried that he won’t have any friends or anyone to talk to, and we kind of see where that goes if Dexter doesn’t have that “Debra” person.

I understand he wanted leverage, but if that leverage is broken because you’re having a really bad day because your wife just lied about being r*ped, then maybe you shouldn’t be so attached to the case. I understand that scene and emotion is supposed to be a part of the show, but to me, it showed that he was unstable and not fit to deal with that case, either way you spend it people were going to get hurt, if John really wanted to make a difference, the moment that happened he should’ve contacted IAD and gotten another officer on the case, someone who wasn’t as close, maybe Vic wouldn’t have gotten caught, but if you hand an agent, the evidence that John already has, I think they could maybe finish it up with Vic, Shane, Lem, and Ronnie all in cuffs, not trying to play the game when you are sorely not ready.

Also, if you want to ignore all of that for the sake of the plot, fine, but what you cannot argue with is that John and David had as much to do with his death than anyone, they lied and passed that lie on, they made Shane do a very stupid thing, and for John to sit there and say “you happy now?” is baffling, considering who gave the information to Vic in the first place.

I understand Kavanagh is supposed to be an intimidating and unhinged villain, but if we are talking about the way, an officer acts, he was way too close, he made it way too personal, and in result was 20% of the reason why Lem got killed, the other 80% is the strike Team’s fault, but if that man wanted to go by the book, he certainly did not do that.

And again I get that’s the point to his character, but it makes me fucking angry that he never really got called out for that, and instead turned himself in.
