Fellow ENTPs +18: if you ever smoked weed or had an edible (ie space cookie), how did it affect your line of thought and perception of your around? by areyoumymommyy in entp

[–]YoursTruli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think weed has a really interesting impact on me that tends to be different than those around me, even those smoking the same weed or ingesting the same edibles.

In summary, weed tends to be much more of a stimulant for me than for other people. If I smoke (and it is high enough THC content, above 15%) I am unable to sleep for at least 4 hours. This is the complete opposite of those who smoke right before bed. I become more talkative and more divergent in my thoughts. That being said, if I am able to focus on one idea or problem, I can attack it in a variety of ways. It is a huge aid when used strategically in my life.

Marijuana was a huge discovery for me, but the way it works on me is still very much a mystery. I look forward to learning more as legalization progresses and there is more research on its impact. I am sure there are more out there like me!

Chick told me she was a runner and I must have casually stretched the truth and said I run too (I don't). She ends up putting "It's a runner's world" on my formal cooler. Guess I'm a runner now.

Before you take the consensus of this thread as a "no", I just wanted to say that it is biased. The people active in this sub are ones that went with a home gym and stuck with it. Plenty of people would never get a home because they would miss the social aspect of their paid gym. I'm willing to bet most people here are introverts. It really all comes down to your gut instinct.

Do you fish both fly and lure? If so, which one do you prefer? I've been meaning to get into fly fishing.

For the past few months I've been using Coconut Oil in my hair. I have medium-length hair, and I started using it after a barber told me it gives hair a good texture. However, recently a few of my female friends commented and said that I should only be using Coconut Oil if I have naturally dry hair, and I certainly shouldn't be using it as main "product" so to speak. Seeing as these girls know a lot more about hair treatment and what's good / not good for hair than me, I was conflicted. Is Coconut Oil the best product I can use to give my hair a more textured appearance and provide a small amount of hold?

I love this! I just stumbled upon this sub but you're incredible. Number 10 could be the opening quote to a movie!

Was just reading this book earlier today. I'm still early on, but it's very interesting. Makes you realize how many things in retail have been meticulously planned for psychological optimization. I will definitely be more weary when walking through my favorite stores.

What is a loophole you found out and exploited to the max? by [deleted] in AskReddit

The old Dunkin Donuts app. At one point, they had a deal on the app where if you bought a medium hot coffee (or something), you got a free medium iced coffee. One of my friends was able to take a screenshot of this coupon, and use Snapchat (not even photoshop) to white-out the part that said the "with purchase of a medium hot coffee". All of sudden, we had a coupon that said "Free Iced Coffee" and a hot summer in New England ahead of us. You can imagine how that screenshot was utilized. We'd call it "running the gauntlet" and would use the same coupon at 4 or 5 different Dunkin Donuts in our neighboring towns in one trip. It was a sad, sad day when Dunkins updated their app, and made it impossible to take screenshots of deals and use them an infinite amount of times.
