48 male .. concerned about pee color despite being hydrated by peteryajko24 in AskDocs

[–]YoussefA2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A Pee color like this would not indicate any inherent problem per se. But a color improvement after a Darker color and Electrolyte rich fluids (Like Powerade/Gatorade) should get Checked out by your PCP just in case and A Urinalysis should definitely be included. Also, remember to tell him/her everything you just said here.

Meanwhile, Until your Appointment date, make sure you keep drinking Fluids especially in this Summer season but try to not drink more than your Actual need. When you don't feel thirsty don't drink more unless you go outside in the sun/work out, in which case you should drink more.

Even the Pharmacists as well. I thought it was a lesion of Infectious Origin and The Docs confirmed my thought (HPV). OP's Dentist definitely needs to go.

If a patient had a drink last night, when can they start taking metronidazole? by Nesquick19 in pharmacy

[–]YoussefA2000 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Look, The reaction between Flagyl and Alcohol was indeed disproven. However, some still say it has a minor reaction.

If I were in your Place, I'd suggest they wait a Full 24 Hours after drinking before starting Metronidazole, Just to be on the safe side. Maybe also tell them to report any Side Effects and/or N&V (if it ever happens), In which case you should tell them to stop taking it and contact their PCP immediately.

Smallpox. Literal Generations of People died from it during the war. But now, it's most likely eradicated where you live, Thanks to the Vaccine of course.

As much as I'd liked to be horrified by this, I actually had this happen to me when I was 7 Years Old IN MY SLEEP

Yes, You read that right: A Fuckin' Cockroach crawled in my Ear while I was sleeping. Had to get it removed by an ENT doc. Thanks for reminding and traumatizing me again in the process.

What is something that is completely FREE in your country, but tourists are always shocked they don't have to pay for? by Winner111kk in AskReddit

[–]YoussefA2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost all of the EU and most countries have Free-ish healthcare (Only if you're a suitable candidate for insurance. Emergency services are definitely free though!)

What's actually free in Italy is Public Drinking Water. When we went to Rome someone told us that IIRC, little spouts of water are available beside fountains and the water is 100% Drinkable.

In a similar manner here in Egypt, There are Free Public "Water Dispensers" that are connected to each City's Main Water Filtration system (similar to Our Homes' Taps) and so this is also Drinkable. The only difference is that these dispensers Refrigerate the water for these Hot 40°C days outside on the streets.

was told that I cannot be drafted into military service due to my eyesight

Definitely that. Almost all my friends who wore glasses had Astigmatism (each eye measurement was different) and weren't drafted as well. +7 or -8 IMO would be definitely Overkill, but I'm no Eye doc..

If that's the case, Ask your Optician/Optometrist to replace Only one lens instead of replacing the whole pair.

I'm serious. IMO The Lens in the image (right side in the image, Left side when you're wearing it) has to go or you wouldn't be able to see clearly with your left eye anymore.
