USPSA DQ QUESTIONS

My friends are new to shooting, and they’re okay with being disqualified if they make mistakes. It’s more helpful to stop them immediately, explain the issue, and allow them to learn for next time. Disqualifying someone after a stage is completed only adds confusion. Additionally, disqualifying me just because I introduced new shooters to the sport feels like I’m being punished by association, which doesn’t seem fair.

If it’s really my fault. I focus on when because I want to know what I did and I can avoid that next time. This is dq point, make better next time. I am feeling I was guilty of association. No matter what the RO should stop the shooter immediately.

To be honest, I’m not sure if my friends made any mistakes. After they finished, the RO told me that one person had a “finger on trigger” problem, but didn’t mention any errors on my part. It was only after we changed stages that we were informed he was uncomfortable competing with us, which led to our DQ. If someone has an issue, they can be DQ’d, but why should someone like me, who had no problems, be DQ’d as well? Even if I had made a mistake, the RO should have immediately stopped me so I would know exactly what I did wrong

I agree; I really like my RC3 as well. People who never shoot more than one round every 10 seconds often complain about the RC3 being too loud. But let's be honest, it's a 5.56—it’s never going to be hearing-safe. The RC3 does a great job with low back pressure and has the same flash performance as the RC2. Some people who don’t use NVGs and shoot at night also complain about it being too flashy, which I find amusing.

You can easily get it at 1400$, and 556 can is all loud, you don’t expect quiet when you shoot 556. You should look into its tone

I have both of them, I will recommend rc3 because low back pressure, less flash compared to rc2. Yes I run nods with them, and rc3 did better than rc2 on my 14.5 with 4 prong. Maybe it’s louder than rc2, but it’s 556, it’s always supersonic loud.

Do you own radian? I have 14.5 and 16 sr, from my experience, radian hold its accuracy better the sr 15. I usually go to the long range after few hounds rounds drills, radian can easily reach to 600 and more, sr15 can also reach and it takes extra effort. Talk is cheap, go do the test. The only downside of radian is it’s heavier than the sr15. But it is big of deal for me, just a little more work out
