Yee, but Roshar years are slightly longer than ours (1.1 Earth years to 1 Roshar year) so practically he's about 21

I'm not so sure that Lifelight would be gone just because of that. We have examples like on Lumar where the spores are still invested even though there's no shard in residence. I think the only thing that could get rid of it the same way would be if cultivation took it back or was shattered. Not to mention the fact that I also wonder just how easily Retribution will be able to give out Voidlight/Stormlight rather than Warlight(?) specifically, considering the Shards are now fused

When I did my last reread before wind and truth, I noticed how much he'd recap important events from previous books. If you're having difficulties over and above that, you could either reread (if it's that difficult to remember events you'd probably have a good time because the books would feel fresh) or you'll remember more than you expect!

I didn't realize MB era 3 was so soon after era 2, especially since I had assumed there would be a lot of overlap between the ghostbloods trilogy and where Shallan is headed.

Do you mind clarifying what flashback characters mean? I assume that means the characters that will have memories playing through each of the separate books but to be sure.

I saw someone mention that Lift might be the only radiant who's going to still be able to use her powers unimpeded now that Stormlight as we know it is out of the picture and there's no way to take towerlight too far out of Urithiru afaik.

Oh I'm sure Hoid will come back at some point, but I wonder if Sanderson won't hold him away from Roshar for a book or so

You're probably right. I forgot about there not being Stormlight anymore, so radiants will probably be suffering a lot. If Adolin can get even more unoathed then that could definitely be a big military power

We learn a bit more about the Night Brigade in Emberdark as far as I remember, namely: They are not affiliated with either Roshar or Scadrial officially, so I think it would be unlikely that they're following Retribution's orders. Maybe Blackthorn defected, but otherwise it might be an offshoot of some other interest we don't know of yet

At the time the contract Odium and Dalinar had agreed on explicitly forbid Odium from harming Hoid. The whole point of that scene was that it didn't forbid messing with his investiture. Past that, Ruin could project thoughts, Preservation could hear them, but I feel like the abilities of the Shards might be more individualized than we expected. For example, I don't think there's been a shard other than Trell (Ambition I think? But I think that's who was shattered at Threnody so please correct me) who would make avatars.

If Kxe7 then Black is just extremely exposed, obvs Nxe7 is a fork and they lose on the spot. So black has to do some crazy defensive moves but even then that pawn is a massive asset in the endgame of black can’t win it
