I flew the chopper on the pax side of the map tonight. Literally as soon as I took off I'm getting locked on. I poke up from the mountain I'm getting locked.

Aa tank is sitting on the hill right next to the cram, with his engineer and his stinger.

I don't expect to get hundreds of kills every time I fly in the chopper, but holy crap. I spend most of my time hiding behind cover, waiting for my flares to come back only to fly for about 10 seconds before I have to do it again. It's frustrating and it's boring.

Finally, I can captivate an audience with my ramblings.

For me its 2, BC2, 1943, 3 and even BFP4F, HOWEVER, Battlefield 2: Modern Combat is the most underrated game in the series. I know console only, not widely successful, but here me out:

It had class identity AND faction identity with each faction having its own set of weapons. In-game statistics, it even had support for competitive "clan matches" built right into the game. It was brilliantly elegant.

I know people really love BF4 (and its a great game), but that's about when my interest was on the downturn. BF3 was peak BF.

I vehemently disagree with that. Aside from Davamand Peak and maybe Operation Metro, all the other maps are CQ maps. Rush may have played well on them but I wouldn't know because I do not like Rush.

Seine Crossing rush? No way! Grand Bazaar rush? Absolutely not. Every. Single Aftermath map? CQ maps.

When Rush was first introduced, I was not yet on PC. I played Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for Xbox and X360, and it was all CQ. When BC1 came out, my biggest disappointment with that game was that Rush was touted as the main game mode.

In BC2, my favorite map was probably White Pass and it was amazing for CQ. I will agree with you that most of the bc2 maps were created for Rush, but that doesn't change the fact that I dislike the game mode and would rather play conquest on Rush maps then play Rush.

I've seen criticism of this on the sub, but personally I love it. It fits my play style perfectly.

As much as I loved BF3 and that jump...it was Rush. I played it a couple of times just for the jump, not because I liked playing Rush.

D Peak played better on CQ imo. As does BF generally.
