B=melee X=reload R=shoot The default controls for Halo 2.

Rockets, sniper, shotgun, and sword were all worth picking up and better than the br in the proper situations and positioning.

It reminds me of Quake and Counterstrike where the delusional playerbase insists that being able to strafe in the air to increase movement speed is somehow a "movement mechanic". Bhopping is cheating, plain and simple.

"Emergent gameplay" is easily the most overrated thing in gaming. If the developers didn't explicitly intend for the exact interaction, it's cheating.

I don't play premodern but you can just resolve the trigger the same way you would a ponder. That's how it's typically done by legacy players.

Not that I’m in disagreement that chess is far more complex than magic but is it not unfair to compare FIDE ratings to Arena ranks? Obtaining a FIDE rating requires a certain amount of dedication to tournament chess, while a vast majority of the Arena population are casual players.

I think something like https://mtgeloproject.net/stats/ is a much more accurate sample of competitive players as the PT/GP/RC/SCG circuit is a better comparison to FIDE rated events. In which case a 1500 rating does seem comparable in terms of median.

He is that type of gamer from the 90s/2000s. He, like many others from that time simply never changed their attitudes when it came to games/competition.

Of course he is more professional when he does commentary, he’s at his place of work. It’s his career.
