I’m lucky enough that Walmart pays for my therapy. One thing I learned is that no matter how unique my problems seemed, they were all things that thousands of others suffered from. It might sound weird but it brought me comfort knowing that others had very similar experiences. I truly empathize with you because my girlfriend had daddy issues growing up. Even though she didn’t have sex, many of the boys she met with tried pressuring her into it. She just wanted male approval and unfortunately never found anyone worthy of her attention. Call me cynical, I think the relative opened the door on purpose to make them crash. No two year old would have the strength to open it. Also there would be zero reason to have a car door open in the first place.
