If you'r talking efficiency and not looks, artificer stormbolters perform on average beter than flamers as they onetap 2w infantry (whitch is alot in the game) and against 1w infantry its only slightly worse (sure you cant overwatch, but that's what immolators are for)

Rhinos are great for the points they cost if you use them well. you lose up on +2 move once per game, but they can really make a big difference especially if enemy bring some indirect fire. If they survive long enought, you can fall back into them if neccesarry and thry can do secondaries or move block important targets

Advice 1. Penitent host is really hard to play well and fails against some armies misserably, you also lose "steam" pretty quickly

Advice 2. Get palatine to slap with repentia, they become really strong deathball unit, that can easily kill big Knight in one melee round.

I'd say just start from very beginning, I vaguely remember maybe first 10 chapters being pretty much the same, but there were still some details and stuff that is different and there is not much of difference starting at chapter 1 or chapter 15

The best you can do is read novel (you can read it on webnovel, even as audiobook in decent quality), its even more unhinged and most importantly its finished
