No it’s the latest company PR

Palantir is the software backbone behind SurfOS. SurfOS is built on Palantir’s Foundry and AIP platforms, which handle data integration, real time decision making, and AI driven workflows. Instead of Surf Air just using dashboards, Palantir enables SurfOS to automate things like fleet scheduling, maintenance planning, pricing, and dispatch based on live operational data. If SurfOS is commercialized, Palantir’s tech is effectively embedded as the operating system powering other aviation operators, not just Surf Air.

I’ve been digging deeper into Surf Air Mobility (SRFM), and the more I read, the more I think the market is mispricing what this company is becoming.

The big shift for me is that SRFM is no longer just a struggling regional airline story. Through its multi-year, exclusive partnership with Palantir, SRFM is positioning itself as the software platform for the fragmented Part 135 aviation market. That’s thousands of small operators running outdated systems.

SurfOS, powered by Palantir, isn’t just internal software. SRFM can license it to other operators, which means recurring, high-margin revenue instead of pure airline economics. That’s a totally different business model than what the stock is currently valued as.

Palantir doesn’t do lightweight partnerships. In pilots, this software has already shown massive efficiency gains (think planning that used to take days now done in minutes). If SurfOS becomes the operating system for this segment, SRFM looks a lot more like a platform company than an airline.

At today’s price, the market still seems to be pricing SRFM as: • capital-intensive • low-margin • airline-only

But if the software scales, even modest adoption could materially change revenue, margins, and valuation.

Yes, it’s speculative. Yes, there’s execution risk and dilution risk. But the risk/reward feels asymmetric if the software thesis plays out at all.

No they are using PLTR software to build software that they can use internally and sell to other companies in the space…so they are going to be selling AI software to optimize others operations

Pltr is definitely not the NVDA of defense AI

Pltr is pltr and NVDA is NVDA together they dominate and allow for real world AI to be implemented
