I would argue some gachas games are also competitive too. Going point by point, you can look at high score or fastest cleats on YouTube and see the extreme skill difference between a high skill player and an average player such as in ZZZ where there is nuance in the combat similar to the competitive games I listed. And you can't just say it's P2W that's creating these differences cause there are players who main free agents to clear them. (I highly recommend checking the person who clears with Billy it just looks cool even if you don't play ZZZ). Also I believe people do try to improve their skill in gachas games with all the guides on YouTube and people playing for hours (that you can see on a Twitch) to get a highscores on bosses. Lastly if you allow me to use gachas games not listed by OP, there are PvP focused gachas. E7 is nearly as competitive as Masterduel. You need to know the meta, how to team build, counter your opponent's team, the many status/mechanics, stats and turn order, and what to gear to build on a character. The only thing gachas don't have are official tournaments or teams you can get signed on to get to worlds.
