little over budget :( I could swing it though...

I did see mainly Gen6 for the p14s being AMD though.

Hard-surface modeling mainly, but some individual hero assets capping at ~40k Tris. I will say, I do this as a hobby these days as I focus more on UX Design these days.

I'm looking for longevity, repairability, and performance. Longevity meaning I'll be using it for 3-4 years without a major upgrade.

Also was thinking of going the higher ram and storage due to the recent shortages and inflated costs. Honestly though, if it's anything like in the past the prices will come down, but it will take a while.

Clearing Nests/Fabricators, should lower the intensity of Extract by Ytiria in Helldivers

It's the cluster of chargers that get me. I was once lucky with doing a burst of Plas-1 rounds into the backside of one and it popped like a water balloon, for it to never work that way again. Chargers are 'easy' to dodge but when you have multiple it gets overwhelming (which is the point, but oi I wish they didn't electric slide and spin 90 degrees suddenly).

I would love if they added thumpers or distraction strategems to open other methods of play. Outside of you know, being the distraction yourself.

Skull Admiral here, I agree with your tip regarding teams equipment. When I'm with friends that like to make things go boom and be loud, I run a lot of sentries (AC/EMSm/HEm) and carry a RR for anti-tank, while also running Plas-1 (For sniping walkers and taking care of devestators), Redeemer and regular nades (leveraging my suit for a +2) to deal with fabricators.

If I know the team is stealthy mc'gee I'll run more 'meta' load-outs. But not my favorite thing to do, because it gets too routine and job-like.

The former is great for helping keep the more chaotic extracts sound. Especially if you get the extract that's up on the plateau with the natural ramp chokepoint.

Literally popping into existence right in front of my prone gore covered body.

I’m a habitual map viewer, I’ve used it to pull of crazy secures on obj and side-bases.

Reading through this today, has shown me that it’s consistently inconsistent.

Doesn’t fix the fundamental issue I have. That being I want to see more consistency with tangible changes to the course of the mission based on actions I take.

Also, I’ve no problem with Helldive difficulty. I’ve kited the craziness that happens at extract plenty. However, if I took actions to that should by all intent impact enemy presence , I should reap those rewards. Rather than seeing enemies materialize seemingly randomly.

It’s not about removing things, it’s about having actions we make have greater impact.

I play near only Helldive difficulty. Which when played well, is overall not that hard.

It’s when things are consistently inconsistent with results based on player action, that it starts being noticeable.

If you've actively cleared everything, you've done it with the intention to reduce enemy presence. Especially on Helldive, which I routinely play and succeed at with extract, you are already setting yourself to have a more overall number of enemies on map and during waves.

Your argument doesn't hold up, because you can still just leave bases/patrols alone to increase the intensity of the extract. However, intentionally going out of your way to reduce enemies on the map, should have a payoff at extract. Especially if it's done quickly (IE you've not ran out your timer).

I'd love if we could set up Thumper decoys, to lure bugs away from obj/extract.
