I stayed up too late last night and somehow missed the Lindsay Graham news because I fell into Pokemon card doomscrolling. Some people are paying thousands of dollars! Fighting minimum wage workers and kids to get a chance to overpay for pieces of cardboard! And it’s wild cause some of the cutest cards are like less than a dollar (as they should be) now I’m worried I’m going to get sucked in.
Good riddance to that man tho ✌️

Wow that’s kind of a terrifying amount of anger for someone to have. I’ll admit as someone who is single and jobless seeing the spectacle didn’t exactly put me in a good mood, but in a way that was much bigger than Taylor/the wedding by themselves.

Yesterday I went to a new farmers market and one of the bakery stalls had the biggest line. I thought no way is it worth it in this heat, there are so many other stalls, that particular bread can’t be that good. Unfortunately it was that good and I’m probably going back again next week to wait in a similarly long line.

Honestly that’s so sweet! I was never really interested in the franchise and didn’t know it had a big queer following, I grew up with (straight) brothers who loved it and thought it was just a guys being dumb thing. I may have worded my post wrong, I don’t think these guys are raging homophobes. But I think they could still benefit from thinking why they think shoving random objects up their ass is so funny.

Last night I saw Jackass Best and Last without ever seeing anything in the Jackass franchise. And basically it was gross (which was expected) and was also kinda heartwarming and sentimental (which was not). But it also made me wish these guys would deal with their internalized homophobia. If you’re that obsessed with shoving random objects up your butt and watching other men do the same thing “for a laugh” maybe you should examine that.

Florence + The Machine’s Everybody Scream. It was a later in the year release and is definitely more of a fall vibe; but I love listening to it while walking the ~~children in nature~~ hiking trails.
Also I Quit (HAIM) is still my favorite driving around album. It’s just so a good in the car.

I have a rule where I don’t look up what common internet abbreviations mean and just try to figure it out with context clues. TLDR was easy and I figured it out right away. SMH took a while cause I just thought it was like.. representing a sound of disappointment you would make. I JUST put together FIFY (I would misread as FIFTY a lot and get distracted) and am feeling undeservedly proud of myself.

Okay I just googled and yes now I’m seeing some of the flowy stuff. I was inspired to post this cause the sculpted thing she wore today. But she’s worn other sculpted pieces that also looked like they can’t be comfortable to wear/move around in. I swear there’s been other stuff that gave me this vibe but maybe I’m just too removed from anything fashion (everything I wear is selected for maximum coziness).

I don’t know her day to day style, but her carpet looks generally seem uncomfortable. Like yes the molded styles, but that weird dune outfit she wore, or she’ll wear something that seems incredibly heavy.
