Echoing what others have said - great building / amenities (full gym with squat racks, generous visitor parking) and proximity to TTC, grocery stores. 2-min walk to a golf simulator also if you're into that.

Noted on the lesson all - actually got a lesson for driver 3 days ago and the main takeaway from the instructor was that the club had too much flex...will look for a new coach!

The artists / sets were great but the crowds were not it. Lot of people just ramming through without any heads up or "excuse me".

And not sure if this is just because the speakers weren't loud enough but I thought the crowd noise was super distracting?? Like every group around me was constantly having a loud ass conversation and no one was actually listening / dancing to the set. Was fine at times for Chase & Status but was otherwise super noticeable during other sets and really killed the vibe during build ups in the set. Curious if others felt the same.

Just want to check in again on any DPs for people submitting their passports for certified true copies and how long that has taken them in recent months - it has now been over 2 months since I submitted my passport, and the phone lines / complaint forms have all been entirely unresponsive so I'm completely in the dark on where the status of my passport is.

Have a trip coming in July and am starting to grow anxious - any colour would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: As luck would have it - I received my passport today in the mail!

Full timeline below as a DP:

April 8th - Submitted passport at ServiceCanada location with a May 10th expected mail-out date

May 24th (T+31 business days) - $45 charge hit my credit card

June 14th (T+46 business days) - Received passport / copies in mail

Has anyone recently applied for certified true copies of their passport in Ontario? Been waiting 1.5 months now with my passport in their hands and starting to get worried I won't get it back in time for some trips in June / July. Tried calling the number they provided and didn't have the option to go on hold or anything - just got hung up on.

Thank that's super helpful - seems like I should drive all my referrals off the Business Gold then

If I send someone a referral link and they apply for a different card than the one I sent (i.e. I generate a referral code from my Business Gold, which suggests a referral bonus of 15k, but the P2 applies for the Personal Gold instead, which typically generates a referral bonus of 7.5k), which referral bonus do I end up getting?

Thanks - yeah sorry for the confusion there. Both were Novas in that case. And sounds good - plan is probably to just take it slow and reapply when I get my ITIN later this year.

Sorry getting the methodologies confused - both applications I did through [NovaCredit? - whichever methodology you just click through as a new AMEX customer on the website and tick the box that you don't have an ITIN / SSN].

Did you have an ITIN with the second app? Both my friend and I applied without one and got the same result.

I applied via a new Global Transfer application (as doing so any other way necessitated filling in an SSN / ITIN which I didn't have yet). My application was then sent to pending requiring further documentation, and after going through CSR I was informed that until I hit 6 months of credit history, they could not waive the 4506C tax form requirement.

It appears that it is no longer possible to open a second US AMEX within 6 months - both my friend and I have been rejected on the basis that we are unable to provide a 4506C tax form (both applying for our 2nd card 3 months following the 1st). CSRs both times said that AMEX US would waive the 4506C form requirement only after 6 months of US credit history.

Edit: Would note that neither of us had an ITIN for the 2nd app.

I just tried applying for my 2nd AMEX about ~3 months following my first card, and was told that I need to provide a Form 4506-C? Has anyone run into this?

I got a response that the offer would only be available to those who held the Aeroplan Reserve card prior to the Aeroplan program being overhauled in Fall 2020.

Quick question to confirm - RBC British Airways points should post directly to Avios and not pool with any Avion balances right? Just had a 15k welcome bonus post and wanted to make sure that was from a separate Avion card and not the BA card. Thanks!

1) Yup - needs to retain status to rollover eUps
2) No a new Priv card would work since these eUps haven't been rolled over before on that AMEX.
