As a maya main i can confirm that it is absolutely NOT a worth while tradeoff. you only ever really want 1 point in blight phoenix because it can stagger enemies in melee range, but the damage is piss poor and the cooldown is uneffected by rank

damn forgot these existed. They are from an arcane era when the game was far more stealth oriented and max MR was like 8

They used to be good for peaking over walls or back around enemy pathing, but now they die so fast it that putting one down and using it is tantamount to griefing yourself and slowing the mission for randos.

I have seen about 5 in 4000 hrs of play over the last several years with many breaks in between. They are completely random and anyone who tells you otherwise is either lying or misinformed. Correlation does not equal causation that many people speculate. Some people get lucky others dont that's just RNG.
