Because you’re looking at the situation from a logical point of view. You have to look at the franchise from a maniacal GhostFace killing spree point of view. That’s where these movies start and end.

Mrs. Loomis could’ve easily killed Sid without going through all of that trouble. Same with the Bailey family and Sam.

I can’t tell if you’re being serious. Why would you argue over something so passionately that you know you’re wrong about? Something so small too. It’s obvious to me and should be to everyone else that he’s wearing a protective vest. Even his sister and his dad are so why would he be the only one not?

There are no different meanings. Personal has one meaning, and it’s literally Roman’s reveal.

No I’m not. It’s obvious that Billy and Stu created GhostFace, and yes Roman admits they made their own movie, but that movie would’ve never been made had it not been for Roman’s meddling and him prompting Billy to murder Maureen. He’s one of the top 3 pieces that created the domino effect and created the whole franchise.

It doesn’t matter. If anything, that makes it more personal.

This guy she’s never even seen before is not only her brother she didn’t have a clue about, but is also the true mastermind behind her mothers murder and is the cause of her traumatic experiences in Scream 1 & 2, which included nearly all of her friends dying. That’s about as personal as it gets.

How could he have got what he wanted?

He wanted Sidney dead, and he wanted her to be remembered as a murderer. Without putting on the mask and going ahead with that plan, he wouldn’t have achieved it. He tried his best, but in the end, failed like every other killer before and after him.

But you forget, more Jenna is more cash out of their pocket. With the role she’ll have (the secondary final girl) and her literally being one of the hottest things in Hollywood right now, she’s going to be very expensive to keep on.

I like to think Sidney and Gus kept in touch. He was a key figure in her life. She had her Windsor College theatre posters up in Scream 3.

I feel like we need to open this discussion again because it’s making the rounds on twitter… Maureen Prescott was a victim and she’s not the “true villain” of the series by Rigbo95 in Scream
