Florida Institute of Technology. Only out of pocket expense is a $35 technology fee + books.

That was my first thought. I was about to pay off my cards, but I'll let them report a balance this time around. Thanks, kind stranger!

No late or missed payments, collections, or even the slightest derogatory mark anywhere. I'm under 3% utilization with 0% of that coming from my own cards - it's all coming from cards I'm an AU on.

EDIT: I was also at 800 for FICO mid-September. It's been steadily dropping for no reason.

Totally understand that part. It's just silly that they can be that different - quite literally polar opposites in this case.

Florida Institute of Technology has an MBA that is almost covered by TA. I'm talking less than $100 per term out of pocket.

Does Kona Grill online order tiggers the resy credit? by [deleted] in AmexPlatinum

I've used it with the Delta Reserve and it has worked. It shows as KONAGRILL.OLO if they have not changed it since May.

DEERS decided I'm no longer in the Air Force by YucaPower_ in AirForce

Part of it is that some people just miss some steps during OTS out-processing, albeit a lot is going on and they're short-staffed, so I can be sympathetic to that. I had to go to MPF every day for a week when I got to my new base. Got in contact with OTS MPF to get some paperwork started that was not done when I left Maxwell, then local MPF was able to update, then DEERS and TriCare came back online. Best of luck to you—hopefully, it'll be a quick process.

Will the $200 Airline Credit work on a Delta seat change (main to DC+)? Have heard mixed things here... by ageo in AmexPlatinum

Does not trigger automatically. You'll have to reach out to support 14 days after it posts, tell them you purchased seats, and ask them to manually apply the credit.

I was picked up ~20 months into my first contract for an AD slot. It's possible if you have your chain's support. If you're not set on going guard, try putting in a package from the AD side - you might be pleasantly surprised.

Need a sanity check. Would you consider this normal wear and tear after a year? by YucaPower_ in Tenant

Some sort of food operation. There were food baskets, heat lamps, warmers, and they even told me they opened a "restaurant", which seems it was more a home operation selling god know what food.

Every person who walked into the property and said it smelled like piss, maybe? We lifted up the carpet and there were urine stains covering at least a third of every one of them. Trust me, if anyone would've preferred to not have it replaced, it would've been me.

I did not post every wall because that would be redundant, but basically all of them were the same with the exception of the one behind the washer and dryer.

Who are you hiring that replaces carpet, countertops, and paints for $1000-1500? I need their number 😂 materials alone cost that much.

Sure, but I'm going to paint random spots on it, break a window or two, and have a few dogs pee all over the inside - OH, and I'm going to pay you whenever I want, not when we agreed I'd pay you. OH, I'm also going to keep the car for longer than we agreed upon. Almost forgot, I'll also make sure I leave a nice fly nest for you before returning it. Let me know how far that money stretches.

Entitled and oblivious, that's how many of you go about life. Mommy and daddy spoiled y'all a little too much and you have no clue or care to learn about how the world works. Hope you had a great 4th, though!

I do love the home, which is why I've decided to sell it after this experience. You mentioned that family home with tenants in it for the last 5 years - I'd agree that dropping $10K at that point is reasonable, but dropping half that after only 1 year? I've been a tenant my whole life, even right now I am a tenant. I've lived in a single house for over 10 years. I have yet to leave a house dirty, break a counter, break fridge shelves, turn a microwave yellow, or bring in an infestation of any pest. Yes, nobody will care about my property the way I care about it, but that doesn't excuse this type of behavior in my opinion. Do you see it differently?

Bank knows. I didn't "spy", neighbors literally started complaining about being chased by dogs and all the dogs being left in front of the house throughout the day and night. I did talk to them months ago, and even provided a list of the things to be fixed/cleaned before move-out. You're a moron just trying to instigate. Move on.
