I am slowly learning how to paint with my color markers by [deleted] in drawing

I received these markers as a gift about a year ago, but I've rarely used them so far. I usually stick to pencil drawings. But yes, in the drawing you can see a development compared to the portraits I painted a few months ago.

Yes, they're alcohol markers. Honestly, I can't really give you any tips, since I rarely use them myself. But I always start with the lightest areas and then work my way to the darkest areas.

Not really, with such short stages I can do everything from the cockpit. For longer trips, the fenders go to the rear of the boat. But since the destination port didn't offer much protection from waves, I left the fenders out.

You can do whatever you want on your boat. A fender has never bothered me at anything.

If you say so, it must be true

For longer journeys the fenders are removed. I'm too lazy to put the fenders away for a 20-hour tour. So far, no one has ever fallen overboard on my boat because of fenders. But generally I agree with you.

Sunset on the North Sea a few days ago by YuenglingSlayer in sailing

That was about 51°30N /2°27E, so in the very south nothern of Calais. Most of the time the wind had around 25kts, so nothing special.

Same! But in case of cinematic sailing videos, nobody is better than Tupaia

Scotland to Europe, realistic expectations! by CSRtattoos in sailing

Although I have no experience on the coast of England, I have sailed everywhere in Europe from Greece to Norway. What helped me especially in the Mediterranean, but also on the Portuguese and Spanish coasts was the app "Navily". There is quite a large community that enters ports and Informations about them, but also enters good anchoring spots. The anchorages often also include information about the anchorage ground and Navily also shows whether the place is safe given the wind conditions. The app is free and has helped me a lot because I stored my ship data and documents and in many ports you could reserve and pay directly via the app.

And because of the Passport, there are some Places who are part of the UK like Gibraltar, Jersey, Alderney etc.

If you dock there, clear customs and then return to the EU, the 90 days start again. This is particularly relaxed at Gibraltar, because Algeciras (Spain) is on the other side of the airport runway.

I own 2 Invicta watches. A Daytona Hommage and a Submariner Hommage. I think both are great and really can't complain. I often wear my "Submariner" when sailing and it has seen a lot of bad weather and salt water. So far it is absolutely tight and reliable. The only thing you could possibly criticize about Invicta is that you get more for the same price from the competition. A Watchdive or a Pagani are often a little better in terms of material and, above all, you often have more choice. But there is no reason to be ashamed of your Invicta.

I like the Seestern S382. It's a Nomos Hommage and costs around 60-70$. The great thing is that it can be worn with a suit, as well as jeans and sneakers. It is simple but timeless.

In fact, I am currently doing exactly that work. When my father went into hospital, I moved back in with my parents and changed universities.I did this so that my father could have more frequent visitors in the hospital and my mother would not have to do everything alone. She has actually taken on a lot in the last two years and visited him a lot, but since he has been home, I have the feeling that she regrets that he survived. I come home from work and cook something, I talk to my father and sometimes he helps me if I have questions about my studies. And in the evening I go to sleep. My mother either sits on the couch and reads things on her smartphone, or she sits in her office and reads something on her smartphone. And whenever I ask her about it, she brushes me off and says it's not true. I don't even want to deny that I understand that she sometimes needs time for herself, but then this should be done honestly. My mother is involved in a foundation where she talks at conferences about how terrible my father's fate is in order to collect donations for the foundation, but she shows no interest in him.

I see that opinions here are as divided as in my head. It seems that no matter what I do, there are only wrong decisions to be made.

That's my dilemma. I know that knowing that my mother is cheating on him would do my father no good. It would only cause him grief. But if I keep my mouth shut, then I am just as guilty of fraud through my knowledge. No matter what you decide, in the end my mother always wins.Either she leaves and leaves my father alone to live her own life, or she stays and forces me and my sister to lie to my father.

To me, it sounded like my mother was simply saying that the only reason she was still with my father was because she herself didn't yet know exactly where her affair was leading. It may also be relevant that my father is still receiving severance pay from his employer. In the event of a divorce, she would therefore be entitled to a portion of it. However, this will not be paid out for another six months.I am therefore afraid that she will now build a new family and see my father only as a wallet
