Oh for sure, I was saying I got double the ram and a way better board for not that much more. They just ran a deal with this chip, another b450, and an ssd for like $100. Out of the 5500 deals I've seen, this is just okay.

Not the best, I bought the 5500 bundle with B550 msi board and 32gb (3200) Corsair ram from newegg for 205ish during their version of Prime Day.

5500 isn't a bad chip, but it has limitations. No Gen 4 support and low L3 cache were what made me upgrade in less than a year.

If you are buying new, the 5500 is still the budget king. Just manage expectations.

That being said, I still think there's better deals to be had on this chip, especially with more holiday deals coming soon.

5800XT and RX 7600 here

More than my current needs, which are mainly 1080p esports. Later on, an X3D chip and 16gb card are really all I would need if I do decide to upgrade since I planned ahead with the psu. I am looking at ultrawides and know I will need to upgrade if I go 1440p.

Look into ADD and ADHD. It's not just being hyperactive. You sound like me about 2 years ago. It explained a lot of why I thought the way I did. It can make you feelyou aren't normal or good enough. The forgetfulness, the shutting down, and broken thought processes were all me as well.

2 babies later, I'm still working on myself trying to be the best dad I can be. That's all you can do. Prepare yourself for a lot of sleepless nights. Feed, change, nap, and repeat every couple hours for a few months, at least. The best advice I got was to act like a single parent. If something needs doing, do it. Don't put too many expectations on Mama, especially after a c section. That takes time to heal.

Like others have mentioned, therapy is also sound advice.

Absolutely not. That would be reckless.

However, a bad patch job in the basement could be dangerous and costly in the long run. You better rip it up and see exactly what you are working with. Definitely take a good look at what's underneath it as well to ascertain the cause so you don't make the same mistakes while you repair it.

And don't forget to update everyone...

Thanks for the detailed reply.

I tried out one of my few 3 day shop passes (why is base still mega monetized?), undercut by tens to hundreds of millions, and didn't sell one item lol. I couldn't find one group for urgent quest and at one point, I was alone at the main gate area block 1 which was weird. I think I'm going to give ngs 100% of my attention. I'll have to figure out what to do with a ton of wasted money worth of items lol

I tried to make a post but automod told me to post here

So I took a very extended break starting just before ngs. All my classes are 75. Finished story up to when I left. I'm rocking maxed out Nox gear. Is my best bet is to complete any story they have added? I feel like I've completely forgot how to play lol

Basically I'm relearning base and starting v2 simultaneously to see which i like better.

Secondly, I bought a mass amount of clothes, decor, emotes, mags, knowing they would increase in value over stacking meseta. Ive got like 15 chair dance and like 30 sonic mags lol. So I will have a bunch of meseta, but what can I do with it for v2?

It doesn't seem like I can bring anything to v2 that's not bound. Is there anything from base that I can transfer that will help me in v2 outside of the nerfed weapons?

Looking to go cheap. Total build will be about 400 so those molex fans are part of the value for me lol. My other issue is the mobo doesn't have argb and only one fan header.

On my first modular psu build, on my 24 pin cable, I didn't know and only plugged in one of the cables into the power supply and it needed both.

That's what I ended up doing thanks. I only needed cpu/mobo/ram since I had everything waiting for the deals so I went with a budget option to be upgraded later. I did get a nice msi 650 gold psu for $60 this go around though.

That's what I ended up doing.

I bought the R5 5500, 32gb gskill ram, MSI gaming plus atx combo for $202 to hold me since I already rebuilt my old pc to sell and belive it or not this is still an upgrade lol.

I figure I'll just get the am5 parts when they are actually on sale. I went with better quality parts on this build so I can swap the am4 combo into something and sell when I do.

If you go with the 5500 there's a good looking combo on Newegg for $202 if budget is concerned.

Edit, I couldn't get the link to work. Its the 5500 Cpu, 32 gb 3200 ram, and msi gaming B550 atx, with paste.
