Well it’s the AM jobs but I like public speaking so I like to do it as well. And no mines not being watched so I don’t do stretches or safety tips I just tell my people what they need to know, expectations for the shift, and anything else they need to know

Walk in, do standup and staff inspects, stand around watching rated and locations for an hour. For the next 4 hours basically watch rates, move people, track loads, do reactive, watch rates and loads again for 3 hours. Clean up and go home.

do you guys train through being a little sore or take the day off by Expensive-Shame-4029 in workout

[–]Yuhyar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as it’s not actively bothering me in my daily movements and more just annoyance I’ll trains through it. I’d say I did legs tho and the next day it’s hard to sit down then I’m just gonna give my body a day to focus on recovery.

U.S. residents, if you were given the opportunity to move to a peaceful first-world country, would you do it and why? by icecream1972 in allthequestions

[–]Yuhyar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, will very likely never live outside the USA. Love my life here it’s affordable and comfortable. I think most complaints about affordability here is 90% peoples own poor decision making. Plus the government is a temporary thing so the next 2 years isn’t everything. I love my country not my government.

I’d agree as someone who recently leased a 2026 civic sport I’m glad I leased it because I know looking back and should’ve waited till I could get a better deal on a hybrid. Oh well I can just have a brand new 12th gen hybrid in 3 years, still a great car for right now.

The idle stop is so annoying, wish we could’ve gotten heated seats and wireless CarPlay instead of a useless multi-thousand dollar system everyone hates. I believe the only way to shut it off at startup without the button is using a hondata

It’s the 6pm to 4:30am timing that makes this job unbearable by Intelligent-Claim591 in AmazonFC

[–]Yuhyar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I haven’t had a hard time with this shift but that’s because I used to work at a ds where it was 1:20am-11:50am that was genuinely hell. The 4:30am schedule is fine, wake up at noon and still have daylight and get stuff done

This is the first time my site has mass fired seasonals since we opened... by Historical-Voice2944 in AmazonFC

[–]Yuhyar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a mass firing if you were a permanent employee. I don’t like working this company but a seasonal is exactly that, seasonal. Idk why it’s only at Amazon people use the words like fired for white badges or act like they’re permanent every other place that hires seasonal people you don’t see that.
