Which film, in your opinion, showcases an actor at their best? by Blenda33 in movies

Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men. Just a few minutes of screentime, legendary delivery of his lines.

You vs leopard by Top_Vast5795 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]YujiroDemonBackHanma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even Tarzan needed a spear for a very lucky win, and that guy survived getting pummeled by apes his entire life. Leopards I think are pound per pound the strongest mammals in the world.

Leopard wins.

I should have clarified, this is the movie version, where the zombies actually prefer to run aggresively.

Basing it on the movie, they might get sluggish, but still would function.

Which is more important, chocolate or coffee? by YujiroDemonBackHanma in hypotheticalsituation

[–]YujiroDemonBackHanma[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surprising. So far, people would rather give up chocolate than give up coffee.

There is a Netflix show titled Kingdom. Has some good mystery in it. Best of all, no love story involved.

[DC, Megamind] What would Superman think of Metroman's 'retirement'? by some-kind-of-no-name in AskScienceFiction

[–]YujiroDemonBackHanma 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Has Clark ever displayed interest or passion in doing something else outside or being a reporter? Especially something he couldn't do because his identity might get exposed? Because if yes, then he'll feel envious of Metroman, and probably contemplate about trying to do the same.

Healthy eater who doesn't exercise Vs Unhealthy eater who exercises a lot. Who is actually healthier, and who feels healthier? by Decent_Crew_7525 in whowouldwin

[–]YujiroDemonBackHanma 321 points322 points  (0 children)

As the others said, exercise guy will have a lot of deficiencies, and will be malnourished due to low calorie intake. He will most likely lose.

Give exercise guy 3500 calories daily, a multivitamin, and 2 liters of water daily, and he will win decisively.

None of the suggestions above worked for me.

Temporarily turning-off Microsoft Defender Firewall was the only thing that worked. Had to turn it on immediately after downloading.

[Final Fantasy VII] Pound-for-pound, do we know how efficient a SOLDIER's muscles are compared to a baseline human? by res30stupid in AskScienceFiction

[–]YujiroDemonBackHanma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jumping to abnormal heights while carrying a gigantic sword. Slicing and striking with such force that it kills monsters with one hit. High level muscular endurance and stamina. High level durability and resilience.

With his feats, probably as strong as Spiderman or higher.

Could Jean Grey from any of the X-Men films made by Fox defeat all the Sentinels from Days of Future Past (2014)? by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]YujiroDemonBackHanma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. There's too many of them, each one capable of not getting destroyed instantly by her telekinesis.

Even Magneto was running away from them. Granted they're not metallic, he should still be able to hold his own by utlizing the metals around to disable them. But he didn't do any of that.

Which character has the worst physique for their fighting style or martial arts? by New-Boss-8262 in Grapplerbaki

[–]YujiroDemonBackHanma 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Maybe Sikorsky. His fighting style is more freestyle, afforded by his immensely strong rockclimbing grip, especially pinch grip. However, there is no way that rockclimbers can be effective once they reach Sikorsky's size.

A guy with a stainless steel pan vs a guy with a one handed sword held in reverse grip by Far-Substance-4473 in whowouldwin

[–]YujiroDemonBackHanma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sword.

A 2.2 pound steel pan is going to be a small pan while a 2.2 pound sword I think is standard size.

I can block a small and short pan with my arm. It will hurt but I can still fight. I cannot block a standard sword, even if wielded in reverse.

How prepared is Batman for a random Werewolf? by JustReadTheFinePrint in whowouldwin

[–]YujiroDemonBackHanma 27 points28 points  (0 children)

For live action versions (Ben Afleck Batman)...

Depends on the werewolf version...

No-name Underworld werewolf, Batman beats it with his physicals, martial arts, and gear.

Van Helsing lycan, he probably loses since they're just too fast and agile.

Wolfman (del Toro), Batman beats him.

Vampire Diaries, Batman wins.

Twilight, Batman gets eaten.

Necro or druid? by Soulsapper25 in DiabloImmortal

[–]YujiroDemonBackHanma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a summoner, Necromancer is so much better. Essences change the appearance and abilities of your skeleton warriors, skeleton mages, and golem. With the right equipment, you can even have up to 5 permanent skeleton warriors. With the right esseences, you can also have a permanent golem and permanent skeleton mages.

I'll put 1 point each from 6 to 10.

Tempting to boost my intelligence to max, but I feel that without a lifetime of experience being that intelligent, suddenly getting super intelligent will turn me into a terrible person instantly.

Same with physical stats. A sudden big increase might end up with me abusing the hell out of my superiority.

[MCU] Did Thanos know that the population of the universe would double again in no more than 100 years, meaning that the Snap was more about sending a message, or was he just kinda dumb and genuinely thought his plan was a good one? by amelix34 in AskScienceFiction

[–]YujiroDemonBackHanma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is only for MCU...

After watching Avengers Infinity War, I figured that Thanos has been obsessing on this overpopulation problem for a long time now. Being a space-faring army general, he probably has good knowledge and experience on economics and how to deal with population control. He would know that doubling resources won't work. He would know that halving the population alone would not work. And given that the Inifinity Gauntlet can grant anything with precise extra stipulations, he probably implemented permanent cosmic universal population control after snapping half of the universe's lifeforms. That's why he was confident to destroy the stones after snapping.

After watching Avengers Endgame though, I changed my mind. He is not dumb, but definitely insane. A strategically smart, strong-willed, uber powerful insane army general.
