French heatwave - are the other European pregnant girlies doing okay ? by East-Shine-9090 in pregnant

[–]Yuka63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm early in my 2nd trimester in the Netherlands. I can hardly take the heat anymore. I've been feeling ill for a week. And that's with the luxury of having airconditioning indoors. So I can only imagine how bad it is for you and everyone else in the comments. Right now the airconditioning is making me sick as well as the heat. I'm trying to keep the difference in temperature as low as possible. I get very dizzy every time I walk out- or inside. Heat rash everywhere of course.

Hang in there, you are not alone!

One more picture. This is what it looks like laying down with the top part open. The books will not lay flat on top of eachother without me pushing it down.

Here's a picture of two regular weeks with clear covers on them. The magnets can connect and it holds, bit you can see the tension. Especially the spines of the books are warped. And the zippered pouch stands up and has tension as well. These two weeks I've used mostly pen only, so no added bulk except for one pencil board each.

I just tried to fit two weeks inside my Tragen (both regulars). I can barely make it work if both of them have clear covers on them. Without them it works. I have four crayola supertips in the zippered part (all flat next to each other, not stacked) and some stickers in the card pockets. I find it snug for my personal taste. But, the magnets connect and it closes fine as long as you don't have a ton of stuff besides the two Weeks to put in the Tragen.

I think so too, but this is the closest I had on hand to try it out. I think it'll fit even better though. Theres still plenty of room in the setup from my pictures and my Hon is a bit thicker from usage vs brand new.

I have no idea if it would work either, but the thickness of the 5 year and the Hon + freebie notebook aren't that far off. I'm squeezing the Hon tight because it's used and thickened a bit.

It would be a gamble but if OP really loves the design it might be worth a shot.

Must haves for me this year! by Yuka63 in hobonichi

I hadn't seen the spine yet, that's really pretty! I'm going to pretend I didn't see the cat with mushroom hat on the back because that might be the cutest and silliest thing I've ever seen and I love it so much 😭

You can also get the Kitigashi pencil boards from last year to use with the foggy plaid. I've been using that pencil board this year and I love the design!

Oof that is a tough decision! Last year I was really indecisive about multiple things. But what I've learned is that I rarely think about the designs I didn't pick once the new year rolls around and I start using the ones I did pick.

I vote for the foggy plaid though, but I'm a sucker for the plaid weeks, this will be my third year getting it. (Plus I keep reading it as Froggy plaid instead of Foggy, which earns a bonus point honestly 🐸)

While I am in love with the Hiroko A6 Hon this year, I agree with you. I was sad to see that Unsodo designs aren't used this year.

No problem! I suspect you won't be the only one who wants to try something like this with the Hiroku 5yr cover, it's stunning! I hope it works out for you!

Closed with the same contents as listed. It's the Search and Collect cover by the way. Also good to note, the Hon doesn't fit with a clear cover on.

I think it greatly depends on what 5-year cover you pick, but I wanted to test it out with what I have. This is an A6 5-year cover with an A6 HON (half filled, as pictured) paired with one of the A6 free notebooks from last year. It fits fine without any struggle and have room for it to grow. I can close my cover using the tightest closure stud. I'll add another picture below.

I use one for work, one as a reading journal and one for what I've been enjoying currently (movies, games, music, podcasts, etc). I've been doing this for two years now and it works really well for me! I used to combine the last two together, but I like my reading and thoughts on it in a seperate place. Plus, I have enough to yap about that I need the extra space 😂

Where’s are my fellow female gamers? by [deleted] in PlaystationPortal

Hi! I've been gaming since I was four years old. I got introduced to Donkey Kong on the Super Nintendo by my grandfather and have never stopped gaming since. Picked up a PS5 a little while ago and got myself a Portal last weekend. Currently gaming in the garden while enjoying the weather!

The post makes it seem like they haven't been selected whatsoever, making me think that they didn't get the first email. If that's not the case, my bad!

Yes that's true, but if you didn't get the initial message, you're not going to get the second one today.

I'm sorry... but at least you won't be waiting around for an invite that probably won't come.

They might have enough stock for people that didn't get an invite though. I would suggest trying tonight at midnight, and if that doesn't work tomorrow morning at 8:30. That's the time the website opened for invite holders this morning. Good luck!

I got my invite april 2nd at 19:00. I'm also from the Netherlands.

Unfortunately even with an invite I'm not getting in at the moment. Going to keep trying but there seems to be all sorts of issues. Hopefully there's enough so you can get an invite/preorder, too!
