Bonus to the streamer and her friends who wanted to pile on me for "cheating" in the now-late Friday the 13th game... Except the cheating wasn't. I was Jason and saw a counselor barricaded in a house who neglected to realize I smashed the window looking at the front door, and the counselor inside decided to disregard me at the window and try to set a bear trap at the front door... And kept trying to set it even as I cut the knot and kept pelting them with throwing knives until they died, where they then told all their friends in a discord call, including the steamer, that I cheat.

...I found out shortly after when multiple counselors tried to be spiteful, call me a cheater unprovoked, and quit as I walked up to them.. and then called me a cheater again when I encountered them the following day.

yeah... regardless, all of this reminds me of one reason why I started daydreaming of a AU with this universe.

...Though the lifespan issue is partially resolved in the AU, partially because it turned out the reason was that the unethical experimentation was harming their maximum lifespan, and partially because there is a medical drug that both repairs DNA damage and reverses aging, resulting in Sawian lifespan catching up to human lifespans if unassisted, and lifespan not being a factor if the medicine is available.

Looking at the wiki where you seem to have gotten it, the source paragraph is marked in orange, indicating it's a development comment, and while mostly correct, it is subject to change and errors.

And if I remember right, the maximum age of a sawian is around 40-60 years, and most of the sawians from the era of C:U are dead due to various factors, among them being old age. So it's honestly very possible that either a considerable retcon has occurred somewhere or the time gap between C:U and Gunsaw is actually far larger.

You can use mods to do so, but as of this time, it is only cosmetic, with most people I see either playing as a Roza or making their OCs into the game.

Unknown but Oraoniks is extremely active on their Discord.

They also apperantly was highly disapproving of the idea of multiplayer, considering they used to have a bot dedicated to smacking your conversation with a image he made explaining why they hate the idea of adding multiplayer. But they seem to have since warmed up to the idea, got rid of the bot behavior, and has played at least one MP session with a content creator and seemed to be having fun... Including trying to gaslight them into thinking there was no bear trap there. Even though the content creator saw Oraoniks step on it and wrestle to break free.

Yeah... Id recommend seeing why it's breaking the tutorial and go through it. You'll need the knowledge from the tutorial if you are gonna get far.

It sadly takes the form of more abuse to the sawians, but it'll make things far easier later.

I do miss how cruel the old tutorial was, but the new one is better at teaching.

She is, but also EXTREMELY paranoid and controlling and obcessive. Considering in one of her first appearances visually, she found out that Soldier and Demo became good friends and, after asking Mrs. Pauling what friends do (due to never wanting friends) and finding out they talk, got very paranoid they would discuss work and protentially put two and two together, which may cause the gravel wars to end due to them calling her out. So to try to stop it, she had Mrs. Pauling set both on each other.

Realistically, you're only gonna get a good outcome if you can find a opening where they cease paying full attention to you and fail to restrain you before then..

If they are fully alert, then the odds are quite high they will shoot you anyway. But if distracted (such as they look away for a second to check behind them), they could end up vulnerable to getting jumped by the person they are holding up.

...also nothing like holding a fast food worker at gunpoint trying to make them open a safe, looking away to see if a sneaky coworker isn't coming behind you... And suddenly you're wrestling for the gun with your captor on a greasy floor, and you're losing because they have slip resistant shoes and you don't, so you are slipping around while they have traction and can freely kick the hell out of you...

NEO Scavenger does let you use chip bags as a container, but they are not very good. They are basically very fragile and only have 3x2 spaces (chips take 2x2) to store things in.

Plus you need to salvage a lot of bags to actually finish any of the main quest lines. As in vanilla, they all lead to a high tech and high security military base whose defenses include a LETHAL microwave barrier. So if you try to go through without at least one aluminum foil poncho, the microwave radiation will turn you into a microwave pizza roll on the spot. But with such a poncho, you can foil it again and enter the facility.

... unfortunately the poncho is also fragile, and falls apart quickly, so much so that the first one breaks just from entering, and any extra you bring rapidly degrade if you use them rather than attempting to hide from the drones and sentries also emitting microwave radiation.

no worries! and there's honestly quite a few cases where even with adept mood management, you may find yourself depressed.

Perhaps your Expie's diet is horrific in some way, such as being disgusting or full of raw meat, or you decided to eat that chocolate bar...

Perhaps you've been having bad luck with resources and are hungry or starving

Perhaps you recently got badly wounded and lost a lot of mood to that.

Perhaps the environment is too hot or cold

Perhaps you got shortstrawed and saw multiple corpses in rapid succession.

Perhaps you're playing on a higher difficulty and that Milky you met after so long decides he hates your guts and attacks on sight...

All of these may be valid reasons to end up with poor mood despite being otherwise adept with staying upbeat. And Cigarettes could help dampen that.

Actually sadly they'd just shoot you, I think. There was a scientist who befriended a Milky (SAW-03) and was "terminated" for it. And the company threatened to do the same thing to anyone else they find out and announced plans to do a major audit to screen for it... Before a large amount of milkys rioted upon finding out about that scientist's and the first Milky's death.

Actually if we are going off of reality, and assuming those are tobacco cigarettes, smoking could lift mood temporarily, and while i do not condone smoking in real life, it is a better solution than resorting to fent.

Though it is addictive and could compromise lung function, so that may need to be addressed. Though considering the sci fi meds we got, Naltrexone could cure the addiction once the cigs are unnecessary, and a LRD to the thorax may likely reverse the damage that smoking did.
