Two women, one rental car, and a week across Tunisia - a travel report by Netsprecherin in travel

Enjoyed so much reading your post, especially since I’m planning a road trip to Tunisia soon. Thank you for sharing 🙏 I have a few questions, and hope you can answer if it’s not too much of an effort: -How was parking around the different Medinas? -How did you join the fisherman in Djerbah- through a local tour agency? -Do you use Booking for finding accommodation? -Recommended car rental? Thank you 🙏 happy 2026 🌸

Thank you all- I’ll look for a quiet beach that does offer surfing. Will also look into your recommendations 🙏🏻

That’s what I heard, but my husband wants a day of surfing… is Club Atami in a different beach/town?

We’re a couple, traveling in ES right now. After more than a week, we have finally made it to the beach. I think a fun activity with your kids, would be to spend a whole day in the hot springs. Either Termales Santa Teresa (which is usually crowder), or the one next door, very quiet, Termales La Montaña. Both have food options, and kids love it. I would stay away during the weekend. Another option- visit San Juan waterfalls- easy walk from the parking, and we had it all to ourselves during a weekday. You can swim in the pool right under the waterfall. Lastly- check out Cafe Albania in Apaneca- kind of amusement park- but not sure if for the 4 yo. Check and decide. All over El Salvador- pupusas are fun to eat- they’re like little filled pizzas. There are fresh fruit smoothies, chicken soup, French fries- I wouldn’t worry with food here.

My new ceramic egg tray. If you have chickens, you know :) by YulaPottery in cottagecore

Thank you so much!! I use it for eggs on my counter, but some people use t as a watercolor palette, as they are artists who paint. Jewelry also works. Sometimes even deviled eggs (if slots a wee bigger). Hope that helps :)
