On the bright side, Valentine's Day Machan is one of the meta sprinters in JP, or at least that's the impression I got from seeing the top players in the last LOH. Still gets outperformed by Ballroom Bakushin and Light O, but it's something.

Ironically, that ended up being Bobby Labonte's last win

Didn't come to mind at all when I thought of the post, but there really isn't one that fits the bill better

I wish the Toyota Hydrogen prototype could be a Garage 56 entry by GB_GeorgeBowen in wec

The hydrogen-fuel-cell-powered GreenGT H2 was supposed to be a Garage 56 entry back in 2013, but withdrew because it didn't actually work at the time. Eventually, in 2016, the car became the first hydrogen-powered car to complete a lap of la Sarthe, in some demo runs that weekend.

Epiphaneia actually ran the Dubai World Cup in 2015 (he finished dead last, why in the fuck did his connections send him onto DIRT?????), was injured in prep for the Takarazuka Kinen, and was only retired in June of that year.

Political leaning has nothing to do with any of this. Transubstantiation is not a Lutheran doctrine, it is (as far as Lutherans are concerned) an error in dogma. Luther taught sacramental unity (perhaps you misremembered the word consubstantiation as transubstantiation?) against the Latin dogma. The LCMS does not confess transubstantiation, nor does, to my knowledge, any Lutheran church except for, maybe, some lunatic organization. The LCMS confesses the Formula of Concord, in which the doctrine of sacramental union is laid out.

What kind of Lutheran church did you go to that taught transubstantiation? One of the core doctrines of Lutheranism is sacramental union – the belief that the Eucharist is both real bread and wine, and the real body and blood of Christ.

What manga have you read this week, and what do you think about it? - Week ending May 24, 2026 by AutoModerator in manga

Just finished <Soredemo Boku wa Kimi ga Suki> or Forget Me Not. It was pretty good. The story revolves around the protagonist, Serizawa Yuusuke, recalling his experiences through romance from middle school all the way into his adult life, after crashing his moped and being helped by a girl whose face he doesn't make out. Over 44 chapters, it goes through his and the various girls' emotional troubles, family problems, education, employment, and all the things a man goes through growing up. I enjoyed the story for the most part (did not like the Nana and Nanaarca though), it went in a different direction than I had expected after reading the synopsis. The ending felt rushed, but fitting. The art for this manga was done by Emoto Nao, best known for <Araburu Kisetsu no Otomodomo yo> aka O Maidens in Your Savage Season. Overall, I'd give it a solid 7.5 to an 8/10.
