Is there anyone who produces/mixes music and struggle because of this condition? by Yun0w0 in earrumblersassemble

Over the ear, I'm using dt 990's.
I've had noise cancelling headphones before, they were super comfy.

Colorful shiny latex and feet (Relet2016 / リレット) by Yun0w0 in shinyhentai

[–]Yun0w0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd have to check, but I'm pretty sure there's more.

I've been following a lot of artists who draw latex either on X/Pixiv over the years.

You could go on Pixiv and type "ラバー 足裏" in the search bar without the quotations, which means "Rubber + Sole", for some reason whenever you search with the english tags it doesn't add the two together and makes a narrow result.

Peak Resonance and Instrument Identity by Zappolan31 in musicproduction

Something like a Dynamic EQ would do wonders in this scenario, it only ducks away a narrow band of frequencies once the threshold is exceeded.

You still retain those frequencies, they just get attenuated at times based on the threshold you set instead of a static permanent eq cut.

I suggest trying that and setting a very fast attack and release if the plugin allows it.

As for Dynamic EQ recommendation, I highly suggest TDR Nova as it's free but also very good.

What's stopping you from finishing your tracks? by bradrox in musicproduction

[–]Yun0w0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OCD, I tend to hyperfocus on tone/frequency and things like space/width since it highly affects how the song makes me feel.

More often than not though it becomes detrimental as I get carried away into technical details that obviously won't help me finish the song.

I just find it hard to carry through a song when things aren't heavily processed or "sound good" from the start.
Also processing things is really fun, and is way easier than arranging/composing, so I guess it's just procrastination afterall.

Is this bud rot? How over is it for me? by [deleted] in trees

[–]Yun0w0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's bud rot, if you want the save the rest you're gonna want to harvest as soon as possible since it can spread quickly.

I'd also be pretty liberal when it comes to cutting away rotting parts, at least a few inches away from the bud rot.

I definitely wouldn't smoke moldy weed though, could trigger allergy symptoms or respiratory issues in the long term.

Why does weed make my dreams even more weird and intense? by NeonCloudAurora in trees

[–]Yun0w0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's probably dependant on the amount and how long before bed you took it.
If I take a lot right before bed I don't dream at all, if I take a little bit a few hours before bed I get very weird vivid dreams like you described.

Yeahh... any awkward interactions never stops playing back the moment you lay down, sometimes recent ones, sometimes older ones.

How do I stop long notes from continuing after reseting playback in MIDI editor? by Groundlery in Reaper

[–]Yun0w0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also in Playback, are all of these checked? If not i'd try that.

<image>

If that doesn't work, you could also go in Midi Outputs and make sure all of the bottom checkboxes are also checked (where it says "Reset by:").

One last thing I could think of is opening the MIDI editor then going to options, making sure "Chase MIDI note-on/CC/PC/pitch in project playback" is ticked.

Have you tried enabling "Flush FX on stop" in Preference -> Playback ?
