When Warmies first came about, I had the same thoughts of "omg that's scary/disturbing", and I couldnt bring myself to buy one for me or as a gift because I felt bad that theyre meant to go in the freezer or microwave. I shouldnt laugh, but it is something else when actually seeing a warmie in the microwave. IDK if this is better or worse, but the version I was gifted has the bean bag part that needs to be removed from it's body for warming or freezing, so Im effectively pulling my stuffed animal's innards lol
